Not crying actually, I just wanted to point out that adding Zed to an already tilting game was traumatic for me. :(

Well, if it comforts you at all, here's a list of tips on countering Zed

If you're a mage, ZHONYA'S!!
Coordinating ganks with your jungler when Zed just used his W for harass/waveclear will force him to flash or net a free kill
If he ults you, and you have flash/a mobility spell up, wait about 1 second before using it. If you don't, Zed will follow you through it.
If he leaves lane for even a second, ping MIA in your lane and spam danger in the lane you think he went to. (Usually bot)
Ward in river, helps to see where he's going to roam
If you are a ranged champion, harass him with autos as much as you can before level 3
If try to walk in unpredictable or random patterns to throw him off so that he can't land his Q
Zed appears behind his target exactly after 0.75s after ulting, if you wait and CC behind the person he's ulting, you'll shut him down and either kill him or force him to retreat

Coordinating ganks within the I believe it is 20 seconds ish at first w - and I think down 5 when he finishes? So ... how long is your jungler just supposed to wait for you to finally have him w to you while he can be stoped.

3rd: This... actually does help... assuming you have flash/mobility spell... but you really need two to actually get away...

4th: If only allies would actually listen... sigh

out of ... all of these... half of them are ACTUALLY doable... assuming of course you had TWO people cc him after his ult...

What I complain about is his disgustingly safe lane phase.

Oh you want to freeze? Too bad I can farm at a safe distance thanks to my low cd abilities. I'll also push you under turret at 0 risk/cost and make you waste mana if you want that cs. :^)

Oh you're pushing me under turret? Too bad I can kill minions below 45% hp with a single auto attack... You can't deny me farm m8. :^)

That's how Zed works and has always worked. No matter what, it's extremely hard to punish him if he's good enough.

I ripped Zed's ass as Velkoz in my last game. He was 0/2/0, 40 CS less and i took his turret.

Game ended, he was 11/3/4. He never killed me, however that doesn't matter as you can't possibly follow him and he can go wherever he pleases to do whatever he wants.

I think zed is absolute ass to play against. I'd rather play against a challenger Velkoz than a bronze zed but I think the solution here, since mages can't follow assassin roams, is to wildly ping missing at your lane while pinging danger at wherever he's headed while pushing In and farming as much as possible. If you get him to waste his time on doomed roams then he'll be even further behind. I don't know the solution if he got those kills off you though.

You can push but after you take down first turret its just too risky to push further as he can just return with jungler and punish your overextended ass

I just realized he was almost never seen in my games without even banning up til recently. No wonder i didn't cringe as much before the lethality buffs.

Great. My main gets in the spotlight after mounths and there's already people complaining. Why no one complains about those sweet mages with more 50% Win rate or how busted Corki mid is?

So Corki as well as certain mages like Ryze and Cassio are broken, very few people would deny that. That doesn't change the fact that Zed's also busted as fuck right now.

Also a 50% winrate isn't that relevant in terms of balance. What matters is change in winrate. Who gives a fuck if Sona has a 53% winrate, she's still not that good. Zed on the other hand has spiked from somewhere around 48% to 52%. That shows that he's had a huge shift in his power, assuming he was fairly balanced before that can only mean one thing.

More than a matter of being good or not, it's about being annoying. Laning against Corki or Cassio before 6 is not as obnoxious as laning vs Zed. At least they're both limited by mana costs.

And yes, I agree with you that currently he's busted, thanks to lethality and EoN.

Have you ever played against a decent corki or cassio? Not obnoxious? Lul. One Q she hits and she kills you at level 2 easily. Corki will half health you from level 1 on if you missposition.

I've literally never seen a Cassiopeia killing someone with Q and E spam at lv 2. It's kinda impossible since she has mana costs and she can't 100-0 you with a doran. Proof and I'll believe you.

Corki usually starts with E which is easily avoidable and deals little to 0 damage if he doesn't autoattack you.

Meanwhile Zed can unleash his whole WEQ combo on you during your aa animation and his E also slows so it's even harder to dodge his shurikens.

However, I'm not saying other champs aren't busted right now. Just complaining that we have another one in mid lane now.

And Zed by a ability that has 22 seconds cooldown that is his only escape and has a thing called energy that makes him extremly vulnerable after a full combo. Plus to the guy that said Zed was balanced, he wasn't. He was plain garbage and only people that liked him actually did play him. There are far better options for an Assasin than Zed.
