For everyone saying that ADCs are the best class: no, they flat out aren't. Unless you get extremely fed in the early game, if one of your allies feeds, you're helpless to just sit there and watch while the enemy team stomps you, and because you can't do very much roaming with most champions, you won't be able to have any impact on the game at all. If you play a late game hypercarry, you'll carry if the game runs long enough, but it probably won't run long enough. If you play an early game champion, you're relying 100% on your ability to get fed in the lane phase and get your items early to counteract anyone feeding on your team. If you play a midgame focused champion, expect to lose because you'll hit your spike too late to be fed, but hit it too early to do any real carrying and fall off later on.

TLDR: if you're playing ADC and one of your teammates feeds in the early game, you can do literally nothing to bring that game back unless you are fed. Because of this, diamond level players recommend not playing ADC to climb, because you won't climb no matter how good you are unless you can consistently get extremely fed in the lane phase.

Only marksman that needs true buffs is Kog'Maw
