Is anyone said that the AR/MR convertion on Sorakas Passive is gone?! (FOR NOW)

Title says it all.

I get the downside of it,but i also see the upsides ;stronger poke, healing.

So is anyone else sad to see it go?

Riot always says that they dislike "invisible" power. I think they tend to dislike adding or removing stat values unless it's intrinsic to the champion, like the bonus stats that gnar gains in melee form. I'm surprised that Tryndamere's slow hasn't been looked at and nerfed for the AD reduction it grants.

Actually i think they removed it because the community made a riot about it,before the even played her on the PBE.

The way I understood it, the lowering of the armor/MR was part of the goal they were achieving because Soraka's rework is meant to make her convalescence stronger while making her frailer.

No I wont miss it. It was weird to me and many Soraka players I talked to, plus if it allows her ambulance passive to be stronger, then its awesome

how is her passive stronger now?

Besides that, you do reliaze that she will be a problem, harder to balance. Her HP% and Def convert were a fair trade off for having a impactful 2sec heal,AoE silence, selfheal+slow and now an R that cleanse GW.

She will get gutted really fast if they dont revert the passive.

Is the best passive? No,but it has the purpes of being a balanced tradeoff for being viable now.

Vehs if you read this ,pls rethink your decision.

They increased the movement speed bonus component and the radius of the passive as well i think.

She would be way harder to balance if she was to keep a 2-element passive, besides I think those passives are too Yasuo like anyway.

  1. NO.Its still 70% when running to a champion below 40%HP and they added the range in the descriptsion (the range was always 2500,they just added it to the description). They first dropped her MS to 325,raised it to 345 and thne dropped it to 325 again(Live MS 340).

2.Dont you understand that unlike Yasuo,Sorakas has a trade of on her passive? 1.Passive :She needs to be in range of the wounded ally and run in their direction(not an ally is low low,now i can wee woo in every direction). 2.Passive she actually sacrifices her defensice stats to aid her allies.

Yasuo on the other hand;Manaless, strong shield(he just needs to AA/move everywhere)and 50%Crit chance.

I think riot just removed it to see how she plays without it. I hope nothing horrible happens to the goat because that passive (whether you like it or not) was there for the sake of balancing her. Crossing fingers she will still be easy to balance instead of gutted to trash tier.

Finnaly somebody understands.Im hoping for it to come back.It may be wierd, but it is the tradeoff for OP healing/utility she now has,With it,she wont be thrash tier and wont get huge nerfs.

It's still really early to tell. From what I am hearing though the grape-vine, Soraka is broken OP right now and the only way to beat her team is to focus her first before focusing anything else. So that passive buff/nerf may actually make her more broken. Still way too early to tell, though.

I'm glad that it's gone (for now at least).

Not that I didn't like it. It slightly shifted item choiced to some interesting options.

However it wasn't really a good mechanic to beginn with. For one it was only in there becasue they needed a crutch to balance her. How can we reduce her defense? Dunno let's just literally reduce her defenses!

Personally, I would rather not have it. I like to play tanky supports like Braum and Leona. I feel like if I wanted AP I could get AP items like Twin Shadows or Banner of Command. I don't want to buy one stat and get another instead. As far as her having stronger poke or healing, I don't think the AP would really help that much. Riot is pretty sure they want her to be nothing but a support, so she's not going to have great AP scaling. There are enough poke supports out there already. Soraka's role is a healer, and to do that she needs to be able to stay alive during fights, and that means getting defensive stats.

Who still buys Banner of Command? o__o

Well her passive is gone for now.Cant wait for the patch to go live. :D
