Why is Kennen such a popular pick in LCS?
But i haven seen a Kennen picked in solo que in like 6 months?

Because pro plyers have no fucking clue about champ picks. They are just a cespool of uncreative circlejerkers.

They definitely do, actually, otherwise they wouldn't be playing in LCS.
The key difference is that team comp matters a lot more in pro play, since you are both well aquainted with and are more likely to set up coordinated plans with your team. They don't just lean towards champs that have reliability, but ones who will fit within a particular team setup for the big mid/late plays.
Solo queue is nowhere near as coordinated, and more value is placed on individual skill, thus the trends of picks reflect that.

Tell me something what i don't know already. And i had the chance to paly not lol per se but dota on semi professional level and i know damn right how to make picks around comps and vice versa.
And as for "pro players" knowledge tehy don't even know what champs make goods pairs and whatnot. THats why they have coaches.
Because all his counters got nerfed to shit. I.E. Kassadin.

Kass was pretty much the only thing keeping non assassins out of mid lane.
He got buffs in 5.3 Otherwise I don't know why he's a popular pick.
instant AOE Ult strong, fairly long MS boost Good poke Good 1 v 2
He's strong, they've just had stronger picks for a long time.
I always pick him top when I don't know what am I against. he is a safe pick for me. He is fun to play but not extremely op.
He's strong if you have a coordinated team, and he has a good combination of poke and cc.
Ult is disgustingly strong right now since it means you can proc your electrical surge on 4 people without any marks to apply a mark. It also makes maxing W first viable which has always been the better choice versus melee top laners. You don't see him much in solo que because of picks like Fiora and Fizz being popular right now and even when he was considered good he had a low playrate.
