Make Zeke's Herald an Active

Current item 3050

  • 250 health, 20% CD, and nearby allies gain +20 AD and 10% lifesteal.

But what if it was an active?

  • 250 Health, 20% CD.
  • Active: For 4 seconds, all nearby allies gain +30 on hit damage and heal for 20% of damage done (Both auto-attacks and abilities). Cooldown of 60 seconds.

Shifting it a bit from a passive, invisible and quite boring item to a OMG FOR 4 SECONDS WE ACTUALLY HEAL FOR ATTACKING, not just for adc's, but for all your teammates.

Maybe increase the gold cost with this, idk, but I'd love to see Zeke's become not-boring.

I like where it's at atm. Honestly, not every support item needs a flippin' active, we don't have 40 fingers.

That sounds incredibly strong. 20% Spell vamp for the whole team for four seconds? That's insane.

Personally I like it's niche.

Isn't this like the old wota too or just physical DMG dealt. Tbh we heal fine. The problem is its only late game. Once eyou get like BT or Hydra and elixir of wrath

A jarvan flag you drop onto playing field would be more fitting only heal if in its area covered/ standing insides its circumference,

Flag can be destroyed like pink ward/zyra plant and decays over time

Nah.

Change it's build to Stinger+Brutalizer.

Give it a aura that shreds 20 flat armor from all nearby enemy units.

Much more widely useful.

I buy it on several toplane bruisers sometimes as a 5th-6th item depending if I have enough AD's on my team. It's a really good item. But as mentioned: a niche. And that's not a bad thing, many items are niche.

The problem is when an item is crap AND niche. This is not the case for Zeke's.

If you rush this item, that means your ADC can skip on a lifesteal item until a lot later. They can go Long Sword+3 pot start, since they won't need the lifesteal from Doran's Blade. ADC can rush IE and not have to worry about sustain.

I just wish it had a better build path, you have to buy vamp sceptre which is useless on support then spend another 800 or so until you finally get the passive.
