Toplane Evelynn is a very unorthodox playstyle, But old Evelynn was able to midlane because she has strong roaming power before they changed her, I'm not sure laning still works? I can see the mind games she can probably play off on her opponent, maybe it will be kinda like toplane Shaco.
She probably can still be played in the midlane, because her opponent will most likely be a squishy for easier kills, and she still have strong roaming power.
Have you ever tried going AP Bruiser(Burst Damage)(High Damage)(Better Poke) over AD Bruiser(Sustain Damage)(Decent Damage)(More Defense), since she scales better with AP?
