So this snowbally preseason.
I get preseason, ive been defending the way things are going a fair bit on here. But i want to throw something out for the future: whatever else a preseason is, it shouldnt be snowbally.
Id love to be able to try new things, but unless i play the champs i already know i get first-blooded by someone who immediarely gets a 3 level advantage and then spams the mastery emote. In normals. With matchmaking adjustment. Then i cant go near the wave without exploding so i may as well be out of the game.
I dont really mind losing lane, id routinely get destroyed by people 3 ranks below me while i learned new champs, but back then i could play safe and ultimately win the game with macro knowledge. Now, that's not really an option. Snowballiness makes it hard to experiment or even pick up new champs, and ultimately you just see less of the game because you get to do less. If the games were 40 minutes long we'd see a lot more of what preseason changes have to offer.
Tldr: snowbally games dont work well with preseason as a principle.
