Attacks still go through when stunned?

I feel like that's a huge over sight - typically, if you're stunned, that should prevent you from taking further action OR finished an ability. I noticed this specifically on Darius. When he winds up his Decimate, the animation will still go through along with the damage, despite being stunned. Is that intentional? I feel like that really needs to be fixed.

Stuns don't stop animations, only channels. So some spells that just have very long animations may look like they should be able to be cancelled, but in fact, they cannot (Lux or Ez ult are two good examples of this).

Stuns stop channels (e.g. Karthus R), not attack/spells that have already begun. It is most noticeable for longer animations like Darius' that you mentioned, or Lux and Ezreal Rs.

it is intentional. the more you know, the more you can play around it and with it.

Ok, thanks for the clarity, guys! Although, I don't think it makes sense, but at least now I know.
