Nocturne QOL Changes

Given the current mixed meta of bruisers and tanky sated-devourer junglers, I think it's time we take a look at Nocturne.

A champion that has fallen out of favor completely because he lacks the raw damage to benefit from the Warrior jungle items and has little business with Sated Devourer given he has no natural tankiness to let him get his damage off.

As somebody who plays the Jungle role quite frequently, I'm sad to say Nocturne (one of the most unique champions in the League imo) just doesn't fit in anywhere.

I think it's about time he makes a return to the battlefield if he could only get a few quality of life changes to his kit. First off, his damage is perfectly fine as it is and I don't believe adding or taking away any damage from his kit is the proper answer to his current problems.

By adding a longer range on his E ability, Nocturne would have a bit higher impact CC to aid his ganks pre-6. By adding a slight MS buff to his W spell shield when hit by an enemy ability, Nocture would have an easier time sticking to his targets, allowing him to make use of Sated Devourer or simply track a target more effectively when targeted down by enemy CC.

These are just 2 changes I think may help Nocturne in his current state. No damage changes or added qualities, just a few changes to his already existing utility in order to more clearly define his role as a Disruptor/nightmare for the enemy team as opposed to just a fighter/low impact tank.

Any thoughts?

I love nocturne myself, now that you mention it that would help significantly. And to be fair. He needs more range on his ult early on. He can not ult from far at all. He basically come into warded areas easily with that range.

While Nocturne could use some QoL buffs, these probably aren't the ones. Nocturne is already really good at sticking to targets (ult puts you in melee range already, q makes it very difficult to escape without flash, and getting the fear gives you a ton of ms to the target).

The longer range on e isn't necessary because, again, Nocturne's really good with his ult. I know you said he should have it for pre6 ganks but warrior Nocturne is just so much better than Devourer because you just burst someone with ult q passive. Nocturne pays for his amazing post-6 ganks with only somewhat weak pre-6.
