I just got a 20 min leaver buster. why even bother trying to play this game i barely have 2 hours a day after work to play an now i gotta pay you guys 100 mins of wait time? you realize i get paid 25$ an hour you owe me bishes. this bs is absolutely absurd. especially when considering my kid keeps messing with the router. it's not like i go afk. This mechanic is busted and is destroying access to game. No one can control when they have to go afk. You can't demand everyone to stay in game all the time and have the router next to them, sometimes its just not possible. fun lookin game. seriously overkill on the play control mechanic tho. bye!

There are plenty of legitimate reasons to drop a game and go do something in real life. However this is a team game, and having to drop what you're doing ruins the fun of others. If you can't give a team game your full attention while playing it would be best to not play the team game.

I would recommend something that supports quick joining and leaving if you want multiplayer, and there are tons of good single player games out there that can be paused at any time.

or you know...you could child protect your router... and eliminate your chances of being afk.

what about the 40 minutes you made 9 other people waste? you just said time is money, and you wasted their time. time that they're probably limited to as well. now you gotta pay for it. Deal with it.

We don't have to suffer an afk because you can't control what your kids do with your router.

You are sooo selfish if you think we all have to adapt to your connection problems so you can play.

It's OK if you leave a given game because X problem, we all have unexpected problems sometimes and we can't do nothing to avoid them, but it's not OK to leave half the games you play and expect everyone to accept it for you.

Good. Glad to see you go. An afker that stops playing is a good thing in my book. Seems like the system is working better than intended :D.

If your going afk enough to trigger leaverbuster, then YOU are ruining the game for multiple people. Stop being selfish and realize that by leaving multiple games you have been wasting at least 9 other players time. I guarantee you have ruined over 20 min worth of game time for other people. Because of this, YES you do deserve this and this is your fault. If you stop playing then it's a benefit to the rest of the player base. Sorry :(

Ummm yeah if you know you're going to be d'cing a bunch, you shouldn't be playing ranked, no matter the reason.

i think what would fix alot of grief with this leaverbuster mechanic is if there was some sort of 20 second warning. like your screen dims an a countdown appears with a loud ding every second then a horn at 5 seconds. this way no one could say, oh i didnt know it was about to disconnect me an the game an other players would be aware of whats going on too. There shouldnt be as much confusion between those whose connections fail an those who are slacking and failing their teammates. i'm all for team work an i push it on other games as well.

lets get a vote on the countdown tho.

Only $25. looooooooooooooooooool

It's your fault. Even if its your kids playing with it, it's not fair to the other 9 players that you get off easy because "Your internet sucks" or "Your kids fuck with your router." You deserve the ban so long as it is not riot's servers themselves disconnecting you.

well i ducktaped the router on the top shelf hopefully that fixes that issue. yes only 25$ hr but i do get overtime up to 20 hrs extra. obviously in a team game you can't be irresponsible but sht happens to people. an i afk'd 1 time an instantly got leaverbuster, the last time wasn't afk it was disconnect. so it doesnt seem to be working that well. plus I got reported like 3 times for it so theres another form of discipline. an i was afk the first time for like 4 mins not 20.

An if it happens again, which is my real concern..where does it stop? an hour? or you just get banned from playing all together? that just seems extreme. idk how about docking IP or no xp for a game. but not being able to play at all is like ya time to find a new game.

...(edit) not meaning to be negative here, its a super fun game yes. my friend irl thats played this forever got me to try it out after i played wakfu for 3 years. i have a high profile on that game an this leaverbuster mechanic just felt like a total insult. i consider myself a pro an usually never afk. i'm only lvl 8 atm so i'll try to take my lumps with this thing an hope it doesnt happen again. feels very random tbh but i'll give it my best. thanks for the input guys. :D

No matter what's the problem considering the fact you "wrongly" afk or whatsover, it is still a ruined experience for your own teammates.

Who knows, most likely one will have to go afk, simply because he got "bored" for feeding, instead explains he has to leave because "his brother is giving birth".

Please leave the game if you have no discipline for yourself for the sake of your teammates.
