Possible fix for Bronzie trolls

Let's all admit the white elephant in the room. Bronzie trolls are a wretched virus that plagues any grind duo or solo player when trying to climb elos.

In my best opinion to date, I fee It would be most effective if any player with a given amount of offenses earns a badge indicating they are a troll of feeding, afk, flaming, no skill etc. This badge would prevent them from being grouped into teams with players who are trying to climb elo. to lose the negative troll badge they would need a certain amount of honors from team mates for a certain amount of games. With this system there would be a cleaner distinction between serious players and those who don't care about winning as much. BAM! solution! Riot make it happen! summoner 13

The one thing I disagree with is the "no skill" badge. Players can be trying to climb elo and have no skill. Being unskilled is not a reportable offense and I think a badge might discourage those who are actually trying and just aren't that good.

Labeling players for negative behavior is one of the worst things you can do if you want any of them to reform. When another player sees one of these negative icons, they would immediately assume that anything the player is doing us toxic, trolling, etc. regardless of how that player got the icon or whether or not they are trying to improve their behavior, and treat them like trash because of it. It's the same reason why asking for reports is considered harassment: it tries to get people to gang up on another simply because at some point someone else didn't like what that person was doing.

Hmmm, a negative honor badge.... You'd think someone who'd go that far with trolling would just be put on suspension.

Although, once someone comes off their suspension they could have the negative honor badge for a week or so as well as a kind of "probationary" period. I don't hate this idea.

No I like this idea a lot. I am sick of the trolls.

In other words, no ranked until they get some more honor badges to negate the negatives. It should deal with the trend instead of numbers, so a recent streak of honors (from many players) can boost them back up rather quickly.
