What is up with the Connection issues today?

I constantly have 32 ping and today, for the third time, my ping spiked up 138 and stayed there.. just as constant as I would have gotten the 32 ping. I checked my end and it is nothing to do with me and after a ping check it says I should be getting around 30 and after the game starts it spikes up and won't go back down. Ive noticed other posts about this but wanted to post another to attempt to get Riot's attention. I live on US East coast and have Fios.
