why no voice chat?
It makes zero sense that riot would acknowledge teamwork is a big part of the game, force us to play with and against premades in dynamic queue, and then not prioritize adding a voice chat system to the game.

It's hard for riot to approach this topic, because the way League works-- they are based off of social media engagement. This attracts younger people. I will let you think about it from there

With Lyte finally gone now, they might need to make a new excuse for not having it.
its because they would need to get extra space to record the voice chat and/or just the extra space to manage them. its also the reason why they don't do sandbox, the hardware/software load has been deemed too much(probs by Tencent, the ownership)
its because some people are raging nerds and will ruin it, an example of "this is why we cant have nice things"
you can get a few different programs besides skype that are ment for gaming and its not very hard to get a 5 man voice chat group going if u have lots of people added
edit:also it would make it harder to ban toxic players, with writing in chat they have proof, with voice its "he said she said"

Voice chat would a real advantage to the team that uses it. That being said a lot of players, myself included do not want to have to talk to the people we play with based on many reasons including the simple lack of maturity.
Now you might say "well if you don't want to use it, then just don't!" however that is simply not possible. Because voice chat creates such an advantage for the team that uses it, the player that chooses not to will be bound to be reported and this creates a whole set of other issues like people being banned for non good reason.
