Trundle has to be the biggest counter to darius. I dont think ive ever won against him.

Darius is a hard-counter to Trundle.

Trundle reduces Darius AD which effects his overall DPS, and can outsustain him with his passive, and using his w to increase the healing he receives from grasp of the undying. The only time he has to be careful is pre-6 as if Darius' passive triggers, things can turn ugly. That said though, Darius can't just w+q and walk away for free as Trundle can use his pillar to fuck up that annoying combo.

A lot of people think Trundle is just some unfair troll champ, but he essentially serves the same function as Swain does in mid lane against assassins: he bullies a lot of champions who would normally be overpowered, broken, and nearly impossible to fight in any other situation, such as Riven, Wukong, Jax, Renekton, all those tanky bruiser champions who will burst you all the way to fucktown. Is he a bit evil and annoying to deal with? Yes, but without him, those other champions would just be able to do whatever the fuck they want with little means of preventing it, so Trundle is actually something of a necessary evil in top lane and jungle.
