"I'm muting everyone the second the game starts and alt-tabbing until it does"

This should be copy-pasted and said the instant queue pops if you're G3 or lower. I mean let's be honest, no actual communication occurs here and 99% of chat is just flaming or trolling.

The flaming will still occur, but if the flaming is directed towards you, your teammates will say 'stfu idiot he muted you just play'. And then people will finally play instead of type.

And maybe just once I can carry a clown fiesta team who wants to type about how Karma is 'purposeky steeling every1s kils report pls'

I hate this toxic game.

That's an unhealthy way to think of things.

Report and mute them when they flame you. Doing so earlier means they know they can't rely on you and can put people on tilt before the game even starts.

If they start complaining, it is evidence of their lack of experience in League of Legends, (Clearly they have not seen the tip that reads that teams have a higher win rate when they aren't flaming each other) and thus a hallmark of their poor skill. They get shifted down the priority ladder, and kills should go to you instead of them. This isn't trolling, it's just playing the game the way that gets you the best chance of winning. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs] Be sure to hit Ctrl+4 every time you get a kill. It's important to celebrate your successes so you can stay positive.

I mute EVERYONE at the start of the game.
I don't hesitate with the enemy team because I'm not playing the game to Talk or Chat with them PERIOD, INSTANT MUTE. For my team the ONLY time I don't instant mute is when I'm jungling at the start of the game and I get a leash I say "Thank You" or vice versa I'm playing top and I'm leashing someone normally my jungler says "TY" I want to respond "np" or whatever then I mute them also.
There isn't a reason on why you shouldn't mute everyone at the start of games.

  1. What about lanes telling you about enemies summoner 4 summoner 7 summoner 14 etc ? Who CARES. When your teammates tell you the enemies summs their wanting ganks instantly nothing else, and does anyone notice the player who says " top no flash or Ignite etc" there DEAD so they just want ganks at that point because they got ganked or solo killed and they cant win their lane now without dying 24/7 because they cant farm under tower or miss 3-4 cs to not overextend. They don't keep up with the timers of the Flahes,TP,Ignite, heal etc mainly the TP and Flash, so just go into each game with the mentality that the enemy team players still have their flashes or summs. MUTE.

  2. Toxic players. Pretty obvious but I'm not going to spend 10-15 mins per game defending myself on my mistakes, choices, or anything to my teammates. I don't have time to waste talking to them about s$it that doesn't matter at the end of the day. I die teammate says "Why" or " you suck" yep I died or another teammate died it happens MOVE ON.
Ever played a game mainly in botlane where your the support or adc but try to remember playing as the support and you dominate the lane and give 10-15 kills to the ADC and you win the game and at the end of the game your ADC says " Best support EVER! You did great, GJ, Nice, honored!" 2-3 games later you play with that same player in the the same roles and lane but they don't remember you and vice versa. You lose lane and the game ever notice that same player who played with you 2-3 games before will say " Kill yourself, you suck, uninstall, etc" So you get the same generic answers over and over and over again. You win " you're great, GJ etc etc" You Lose " you suck, garabge" makes 0 sense not to mute EVERYONE and once the game is over don't respond in the end game chat, NOTHING YOU SAY TO THEM ON WHY U DID WHAT YOU DID in game will click to them because YOU'RE WRONG AND THEIR RIGHT 100% of the TIME PERIOD.

Honestly, the last game I played the second one person was toxic I just muted everybody. Communication by pings is all I really need (as long as my team has map awareness). It didn't affect my game, in fact, it kept my confidence right where it should be. Then, I didn't have to be worried about getting harassed over a mistake, WHICH EVERYONE MAKES, NOT EVEN THE PROS ARE PERFECT.

I find muting counter productive...from my experience in norms...communication is vital.. Whether it's just letting your team know their lane opponent's summoners are down or to be careful because they don't know where their opponent went, it's key to teamwork..

I don't even mute the enemy team because I do enjoy playing and joking with them too..

I would rather have a fun and honorable game than a victory with a rude team.

If I can have fun with even the enemy team, then it is a Victory to me because this is a game and the point is to enjoy yourself..

Now yes, trying to win is important but not more so than having fun. Its why I don't play ranked.

So, why are you stealing kills when you play Karma?

Reviving necro- threads which already had their time to shine is against Universal Rules and as such I will be locking this thread to make sure it lands at the bottom of the howling abyss. I would strongly encourage looking at how old a thread is before commenting on it.

Should there be any questions regarding this action feel free to reach out in our Moderation Discord.

Maybe you should, until you can get a team on Discord that you can communicate with, until then you are right, the toxic behaviour that can occur on boths sides shouldn't be forced upon you.

No need to mute everyone, just mute the Yasuo, Riven, and/or whichever Gosu-wannabe is playing your ADC.

Idk why you got downvoted, you just spoke the truth.

This is what I do every game, but announcing it seems unnecessary. I'd love to enjoy a friendly chat with people, but I'm too easily affected by negativity to allow myself to be open to it. So I let the flamers shout into the void while concentrating on my own game. It's much more peaceful.

your level 18 what do you mean ranked games?
