Jungle takes you to high plat, then top takes you to masters, what gives?

Jungle is irrelevant past the plat mark, no matter how much you struggle and how well you do, you always have the inting top that ruins it. Always and without exception.

Why is this? A theory I have is where as in lower tiers you can always yoink objectives easily and repair the damage that top laners do, in higher tiers, people kinda actually realize you're gonna do drake / objectives and play around you, they don't just give them for free.
