How to support Ez?

This was going to be a snarky post telling Ez players to go play bots until they know how to work with a support. I still think that's a good idea. (But hear me out here.) I am a pretty good Bronze support, and Ez players are the only ones that don't work well with me.

However, I realize both that I can't change all the Ez players but I can change me, and that it might just be that I don't know how to work well with Ez. What are some things I can do to work better with him? What champs will synergize well with him? Is there any advice I can give to Ezreals that aren't working that well with me?

Ezreal's Q applies on hit affects, so Nami's a solid choice to support him. Her E gets proc'd by Ez's Q, and the combination of Tidal Wave and Arcane Shift makes the lane almost ungankable in most situations. Sona works similarly.

Alternatively, Leona-Ezreal is a relatively weak lane pre-6, but it has terrifying all-in potential once both of them get their ultimates. I understand that it was quite popular about a year ago, and although somewhat overshadowed by more meta all-in lanes, it still works decently.

I main ez at plat 5 level. Supports I enjoy working with are cc based, capable of locking down a target so I can land a q or qw until I am ready to go all in. As ezreal his early and mid game are his strongest points so it is important to play agressive and create a lead on your opponent. As such thresh, Leona, taric, Annie, nami, lulu. Are all supports I work well will. Ali can be good, but too often my Alister will headbutt my opponent out of my skill shots. Sona, soraka don't bring much to the table, as I am mana efficient and land my Q's successfully. I don't want to sustain as ezreal, I want to be oprressive. Kill lane combos can work pretty well, provided they have some hard cc or harass tool vel koz and nidalee also work great as a poke comp. Different players have different styles though. Hope this helps
