Rumble Ult + Viktor E Casting Idea

So, Rumble and Viktor both have really wierd targeting, but what if when you quickcast it, you press the key the first time, it sets the position, and then you move your cursor in the direction you want it to go, and then it activates when you let go. This means that you can quickly flick out the ability, having to spend less time toying with positioning. It does something similar to this now, but it seems to not work very well. I've tried using the Smartcast with Indicators, but that system is so buggy, if you release too quickly it just does nothing. Pretty much you make a vector, with the original point as the Vertex, and the point you let go to determine the direction. Again, I dont know if it does this now, but if it does it isnt very consistent.

I think that's how it's supposed to work currently. I'm not sure, I just always turn smartcast off (for ult anyway) on the rare occasions I play rumble.

Uh, dude, that is how it works, believe me, Viktor is my favorite mage and you just described exactly how it functions.

Smart casting his E is pretty much the same as smartcast+indicators for anyone else. Press to set the start location, release to set end location. Only the morons who think you need to "flick the cursor" mess up his targeting, and they are using an outdated gimmick that was created before Riot actually reworked his targetting mechanic sometime in S3.
