When's the Karma rework? @Riot Meddler/Repetoir/Feral Pony please respond...

Ryze has had around 5 reworks, I think. They JUST pushed his 6th ahead of Yorick, who has DESPERATELY needed one for AGES. Cassiopeia just had her 2nd rework.

Karma's player base has been screaming at Riot for a rework on her for ages, the rework they have in now Riot has admitted to it being rushed and incomplete. She even has incomplete voice overs!!! (Mantra is supposed to have another word after the original Mantra phrase, different for each ability, to make it a complete phrase... they're all incomplete, being "Discover the meaning of..." ["Sae Eleisa Tera Vi"], "Weave the threads of..." ["Lath Rian Oune Vi"], and "Reap the winds of..." ["Gaen Na Kyri Vi"])

An incomplete rework has shown, time and time again, to be a complete disaster, and I understand that the Champion Design team has little to no control over this (especially considering they just got bought out by Tenscent, who is gonna milk League for every penny it can...) but this is unacceptable... Most incomplete reworks end up having at least one part that's complete but with Karma... her Lore is lacking, her kit isn't unique nor does it fit her theme very well (and has so much counterplay that no matter how high her AP ratios are, she won't ever be OP), her graphical design upsets the older fans and seems very bland to newer ones. Her mains don't stick with her because it's just not worth playing her...

I've personally talked to Riot Feral Pony over Ask.FM and he expressed interest about a Karma rework, so I started a discussion thread, came up with a kit, sent him the link (AFTER getting input from other Karma mains) and he suddenly disappears. Riot constantly ignores threads about Karma, no matter how many up votes or how many replies they get. They don't seem to care at all. And if they do, they sure do have a weird way of showing it (or not, I guess...?)

TL;DR: Karma's kit is very lackluster, her lore is decent, but she's lacking thematically. Her rework in 2013 (3 years ago in a week!) was VERY incomplete and left old and new fans disappointed. Riot has constantly ignored the numerous threads from her player base about her needing another rework while they constantly push Ryze reworks ahead of other champions (over... and over... and over...)

To be fair Ryze does need the rework, the fact that he's been reworked so many times shows there's something really quite wrong with him. I feel like Karma needs a rework about as much as he does but for a load of different, less obvious reasons. Karma would do well with some small/medium scope changes done by a rioter who isn't Ricklessabandon, imo.

I'm a Karma main (not saying otp cause I play like 4 other champs sometimes). And I love this champ, but I agree with the fact that her lore is rushed. Her background is kinda empty, but ig that ain't a problem. I really like the design. The gameplay is weird, but offers a lots of possibilities, you have always a lots of ways to play her, regarding the build path you've chosen and the playstyle you have. But, indeed, very bad lategame, and if you go full AP (which is stupid) you feel useless, but having some tankyness highly increases your utility, but still a bad Lux.

The only point I don't understand is : Karma has always sticked around 48/49% winrate while not being an extremely high skillcap champ, and low played, which often results as a high winrate, because players are main/otp such as Sona. And Riot seems to always be reluctant to buff her though (at least as a supp, she's a above average one, an ok midlaner/toplaner)

Her rework had result as a jack-of-all-trade, master of none, which is a very pleasant playstyle for some player, because of a very high possibilities, and no real counterplay, while never being a real one, Karma is the safe pick who'll never carry alone while never being completely useless. That's what I love with her, and that's why she can be completely abandonned.

I don't find her rework was a failure. Just empowering where she's shining: baiting and surviving might be a good tweaking option.
