[Suggestion] Do away with series, promotions and demotions

I started today as Diamond 1 with 18 LP, and won 1 game and lost 2. Because I lost the two first, I got demoted to D2 75LP, and winning brought me to 98. Had I won a game first and then lost the 2, I'd still be Diamond 1 with a couple of LP to spare. But because I lost the two first, I need to win a total of 5 games (2 to get into series, 2 to win the series, and then 1 to get to D1 18LP) just to break even.

The system doesn't make sense and it doesn't feel good to have to go 5W 2L just to break even.
