@Riot have you ever considered having negative repercussions with over loaded kits?

I mean with yasuo slightly has it with a measly 10% less crit damage for an amazing ratio of x2 crit chance. (laughable trade off imo) but at least his ultimate has a prerequisite behind it.

And you do it with olafs ultimate trading out defense for power, and Kalista gets 90% AD ratio for her extreme mobility. These are more on the appropriate side and I dont believe they are too harsh.

But why isnt this implemented more? If this was more abundant we would see champions with over loaded kits being more balanced out. Hey you have 3 forms of CC? Well that should have a massive trade off.

Just my two cents though.

You forgot yasuo's 50% armor pen for a whole 15 seconds when he lands his ult.

Yes I did forget to put that, however the point of the post wasnt to point a finger at any champions, even if I do have some in mind that need these trade offs, but more to ask and figure out why they dont include it more often/ offer a suggestion

Thresh and Jinx already have drawbacks. They are in almost every single game and it kills bot-lane diversity.

I believe Riot's philosophy for adding more and more into champion kits is to give them more levers to pull as far as balancing goes. Hey, this champions slows on this one ability are too strong, no one can get away! nerf it. Hey, this ability that gives free flat armor pen makes them too strong in the mid game, lower the amount gained per lvl! etc.
