Hey, I'm platinum 4 right now, and yet, I feel like I'm horrible at everything but support. If I could just play support every game, I could probably get to diamond. But every time I play some other role, I likely end up losing. Can someone recommend to me what they think is the best 2nd role for me to get good at?
Twink Lover 693 votesHonestly, as a support main myself, I would say your best bets are either a support jungler (amumu, sejuani, wukong) something with good AOE abilities and can go tanky OOOOORRRRRR Adc... Because we know botlane better than we know any class we took in College. Just play super passive farm and safe bot lane until you get more comfortable trading.
Our good map awareness helps with jungling though.
Iceoh2 votesMid and support go hand in hand. Not sure what kind of supports you play, but many of the non tank supports play very similar to mid laners.
edit: since you play support, you probably know the dynamic of bot lane well enough to ADC. The mechanics will come.

On topic though, ADC would make a lot of sense considering your support experience. Jungling has a lot of baggage with it, but you can fulfill a similar role late game if you pick a support/tank jungler. Same concept for a top laner, you just have to deal with lane phase.
Miku Lv992 votesI feel like I know what to do as an ADC perfectly, I just have trouble executing it sometimes. I'm so used to thinking about what I wish my ADC would do when I'm playing support. I just sometimes get hit by too many skillshots or fail to last hit or that kind of thing.
Twink Lover 691 votesBecause you're focusing on what your support is doing whenever you have to ADC. Ignore your support and pretend that you're 2v1. You'll win a lot more that way. Deep inside your mind all you can do is think, "wow I can Janna 10x better than this kid".... It takes your mind off your ADC play... Not good.
NB money1 votesI say ADC, cuz u kinda already have a feel for what an ADC wants. Even if ADC is a hard role its still worth cuz u will end up wining the team, when mastered, so u kinda have a head start on learning that role ( hardest and most important role in my mind, cuz mids r not normally late game carrys)

in the jungle since they have a support-like playstyle. this is just what i think though, since it makes the most sense. you could also go mid lane because there are also supports that can go there

Death by Glamour1 votesYou are better of looking at champs that can take on supporting rolls in other lanes.
Things like nunu sejuani and amumu fill a supportive role in the jungle either through peeling or hard engage.
Shen fits will with your play style in the top lane.
Dont forget lulu for mid and top. Extremely useful champ
Duke Anax1 votesMy tip: take a Support Champ that you are really used to and use that CHamp in another role even if it's not common. Most tank supports can go top and a lot of mage sups can go mid. Almost all Supps can Jungle.
I always had a lot of problems Jungling, until I decided to try it with Soraka (I kid you not) She is honestly my best Jungler and Soraka Jungle is probably my best game of all, no matter how rediculous that sounds.
Miku Lv991 votesI like a lot of these ideas, but I'm not good with any tank champions. Like Amumu, Sejuani, Nunu, etc., well, I'm not even good with Blitz, Thresh, or Leona. Figure that the only champions I'm good with are the squishy supports that do some combination of poke, sustain, and peel.
Edit: P.S.: Actually I know math, programming, and dancing better than I know bot lane.
Baunjo1 votesThe fact that you made it plat 4 with only knowing support is astounding, honestly. You should learn top, it is the easiest way to learn to play a non support role and farm well without having to worry about too much pressure because you are so far away from the other lanes.
