The Worst Feeling - As a jungler is when every lane loses while you're making quality ganks.

Rivuo··4 votes·628 views

It happens. No reason to complain. But it honestly feels like trash when every single lane loses.

The only thing worse is when you camp someones lane but they're soooo behind in levels and items from dying so much, that you camping their lane actually wastes your time and nothing good comes out

1wolfpack beat me to it.

Seems like you just got outjungled tbh. He is leading you by 4k farm, with more cs and more kills/assists. That's why I usually ban the horsey. So dominant right now.

i mean... When the whole enemy team has winning lanes i would assume the jungler should win too... lol

lookibg at his overall score and his dominating cs, I can only assume he was super productive and gave lots of successful ganks.

Also, we don't make ganks, we execute them. We're not Europeans, so don't speak like one friend. You'll jumble my jimmies....Is that the right meme?

I understand and sympathize with your point and premise in the op.

But.

Just saying...

Its a 23 minute game. You have 73 farm. A kill participation under 50%, a grand total of 4 kills participated in in a 23 minute match. Not only were you not ganking successfully, you weren't farming either. You've got barely 6.5k in income (and yes, I'm aware your teammates were garbage, that's obvious, they have shitty individual skill metrics too) so it really begs the question: Just what the HELL were you doing for 23 minutes so ineffectually????

Again, I understand and sympathize with your premise in the op, but your individual skill metrics show that, in this game at least, you were COMPLETELY lost in the jungle as to what to do, where to be, when to be there, why to be there, etc. Maybe your pathing was terrible, maybe you wasted a bunch of time typing or sitting a bush, maybe you failed to anticipate what the opposing jungler was doing, maybe your rune/mastery setup is improper and contributed to extremely poor clear times, I don't really know without more details. What I CAN see is that you aren't a very capable jungler, or at least weren't in this game. You failed to make any impact at all in 23 minutes, meanwhile Hec was doing absolute work. The best jungler almost always wins. That's the nature of league at every level below Mastier tier. The best jungler won that game.

There are times when i would be 6-0 as an adc by 10-15 minutes. Then suddenly im 6-9. You know why? Because other lanes can be fed so badly that it completely fucks your lane up.

I consider jungle a lane, if all your lanes are losing then the jungler will inevitably lose their jungle too. Mid laner starts roaming for your blue and deep warding. Top laner invades your red. Bot lane doesnt let you past wolves on purple side.

It happens.

It does indeed. And sometimes you can do nothing about it. Sure. Like I said I understand and sympathize with that point.

But that should not stop you from thinking critically about your own performance. Did you participate enough with the team? No. Did you properly warn your laners of what the enemy jg was doing or wanted to do? No. Did you farm well enough to be a threat that could apply some amount of pressure to the opposing team? No. So sure, your laners sucked. But you made a plethora of mistakes as well and some of those mistakes might just have been what cost your team in some crucial situations.

Lets start with one simple thing and that alone as an example. Did you gank a lane at 3:30-4 minutes successfully? (Keep in mind I can just look that game up myself and find out, not point stating an untruths.) I would venture to say you made the classic low level player mistake of failing to attempt to gain a lead in at least one lane early on in the game. Doing so dictates the pace of play to the opposing team and forces them to concentrate on resetting the lane you already got ahead or focusing on snowballing the lane on the opposite side of the map. This in turn gives you less things to worry about and allows you to farm more effectively while concentrating on stopping the enemy's now altered agenda (an agenda you have made easier to predict by dictating what they now must do to stop your team), a double whammy of effectiveness that dramatically increases your chances of winning the match.

Just because you have no asissts or little assists doesnt mean you didnt ''participate''. Like i said, there were times where my laner was so behind that me camping his lane did nothing because he was practically Useless when 4 lvls behind.

It honestly sucks and the point here im trying to make is not sympathize because im an adc main and i dont jungle im just trying to say i now feel the pain for all the junglers that completely lost their jungle/farming time/ anything because every lane lost so hard even when they were trying their best.

We aren't in disagreement over the effort you put into it or in how we feel for junglers when something completely outside of their ability to control happens and they lose due to that.

What I am saying is NOT everything was completely outside your ability to control and you failed in some areas when succeeding in them might have meant a completely different result to the game. I was asking you to not only feel for the junglers, but to critically evaluate your own performance so that you could improve as a player and succeed in this situation next time as opposed to failing. I regularly have this happen to me when I jungle and still win 70% or more of my games in low elo. There is a reason. I'm doing something right that you are not. I was trying to help you identify what you did wrong so that those mistakes could be corrected. Please, don't take that the wrong way or anything, I'm not trying to insult you or anything of the sort. I'm trying to assist you in becoming a superior player to the one that played in that particular match. Since I feel that is also YOUR goal it might be something you want to consider. But I can only help you as much as you allow yourself to be helped.

Yeah you're right honestly 90% of the stuff i did probably couldve been better. IMO i wish i picked a faster clearing jungler so i couldve helped lanes faster or moved around the map better.

Idk i dont even main jungle but that feeling definitly sucks. Think ill stick to adc x}

There you go! Now you've got the right attitude about this. It DOES suck. But thinking critically about it will help you find ways to be more successful. Sticking to a role you main, sure, excellent thought. Picking a faster clearing jg? Sure! Excellent! What else could you have done? That should always be the question. Sometimes, yes, the answer will be "absolutely nothing", but that is such a rare circumstance that it only really happens 1 game in 1000. Always be critical of your performance and try to find ways that your small goofs can be eliminated so they don't become BIG goofs.

Honestly i wanted to take a break from ADC because i was really aggravated with dealing 0 damage to tanks even with lord dom. So i decided to go Jungle, Then that didnt really work out for me x}

Here's something soul crushing: Being a JG main in a lane and trusting someone else to have a clue about jungling, then they fucking throw the game by being a feeder or just downright retarded in where they gank. It always happens, and it's always an EASY champ too.

First... get item 1409 not item 1401 sejuani doesn't need the extra slow

Then I normally rush HP before I get Armor simply because sejuani abilities scale with HP. I go item 3083 if I'm aiming for mid game and item 3027(before cinderhulk) If I'm aiming for late game.

If team is behind but I'm doing decent then I go item 3117 + item 3742 after cinderhulk and change my boots later on the game so I can rotate better.

Against that team i woudl have gotten item 1011 + item 3025 then item 3030 and then finish my belt into item 3143 . Assuming your team was losing before you get to hit mid game I woudl have gotten my build something like this... item 1409 item 3117 item 1011 item 3025 item 3742 item 3111 item 3143 item 3030 and just let ekko hit me like a truck since he woudl blow up considerable faster until his RoA charges completely

What scales with hp? Her W? I thought it was with level xD. So trackers knife is better huh. I figured smite would be good on champs but yeah definitly those wards could help.

What do you think of rylais?

Yeah her W does... the first part of your W (the empowered AA) scales of target's (enemy) maximum HP but the damage per second that comes after scales out of your own Maximum HP so if you have 3k HP is an extra 30,45,60,75,90 damage per second. For reference the base alones are 10/17/25/32/40 and only scales out of 15% AP so it scales better on HP than anything else.

As for item 3116 is a total waste. If you need an extra slow (some games you really need it) then get item 3025 plus it will give you more burst. If you need some AP+HP then item 3030 would do the trick plus an activated slow. Rylas is just too expensive for a slow that you can't really use that much anyway...your E will outslow the rylas and since slow don't stack your E will take procedence, same with your ult and since all your abilities are considered AoE damage then the duration is only 1 sec for eveything (and by eveything I mean your W since even your Q knock up woudl overlap with your slow). By getting item 3025 you use your W aa (get the icy zone out of your iceborn) wait for it to dissipate and then E by the time the slow from your E wears off your W and your iceborn passive are back up again. If single target you can even trow a Q in between.

Eternity passive out of item 3010 is also quite useful on sejuani since she burns considerable mana thanks to her Q costing her the same as her ult... you generally get 20% CDR with pretty much any build you go (sometimes even more) so that Q is on pretty short CD so spamming it burns a lot of mana.

I don't mind giving them to you but take it with a grain of salt since I'm a vet Sejuani player so I have adjusted her to my personal playstyle rather than what is currently her strongest build/way. To be more specific currently the best way to build her is to max your E first instead of your W, which will result on heavier slows early on and in general a heavier burst (more ganking orientated) but will reduce your dps after that initial burst heavily making your clear times slower whenever you try to farm. Since I'm more of an opportunistic jungler looking for clear ganks instead of forcing them I fell better with fastest clear times even though my ganks would potentially be worse. Because of his Imma post what I consider woudl be the optional runes/masteries for her and what I personally use, try both and see which one suits you better.

Maxing your E first I woudl recomend getting AS marks, armor yellows, a combination of CD and scaling MR blues (you want 5% CDR) and a combination of armor and CDR quint ( you want another 5%) so you have 10% CDR out of the blue. For masteries: 6/6/18 getting sorcery, feast, savagery and runic affinity. and resolve you woudl go unyielding, tough skin, runic armor, insight, swiftness and strength of ages. This set up is flexible enough to switch between cinderhulk and runic echo and lead to good result.

My personal one is run with AD Quin, Pen Marks, Scaling MR + CDR blues and Flat armor yellows. For the masteries I go 0/18/12 getting wanderer, runic afinity, meditation, bandit, precision, thunderlords and unyielding, tough skin, veteran scars and preseverance. This build is specifically for cinderhulk and a pretty much a full tank afterwards. Also this build makes me insanely squishy early game so ganks happens less often but once I have my cinderhulk + belt/kindle I become a powerhouse mid game. I have enough damage to still be able to burst squishies to 75% of their HP so they can die to the rest of my W or just get executed by my teamates. Bear in mind that this build will only work on low gold and below (probably woudl work even better than the best build for sejuani simply because of how players do the game) but would be really weak any higher (I say it out of experience) since the early game forsaken is quite heavy on higher elo.

Perseverance over insigth is due to another modify to fit my personal playstyle and is actually quite sub-optimal. I run summoner 6 instead of summoner 4. Ghost CD is considerable shorter so I can run perseverance. The best choice is to run flash but since my playstyle revolve around roaming the map looking for oportunities, ghost do that better than flash. Again take it with a grain of salt.

As for Runic armor instead of veterans is simply due to 2 reasons. First is to better sync with your teamates, shields and heals on you get multiplied even if don't necessary come from you, so raka heals you better etc.... second is because Sejuani base HP regen is rather high (is between top 20 at both level 1 and level 18, last time I check it was ranked 12 on both but haven't kept with all the nerf/buffs on every champion) plus warmhogs and spirit visage are quite common on her furthering improving your HP regen. I run perseverance so I get veteran scars and get my regen boost from perseverance, if you go for strength of ages+insigth you get runic armor instead so you have balance between HP at early levels and Hp regen.
