teemo support itself isnt reportable, but if they're playing in a way that negatively impacts the team, then you can report them

It sounds like he was trying to win.

Which doesn't negate his job to actually support which means not taking cs, and peeling for his team. (the exhaust)

To be honest there's literally no rule saying that the role of a support is to starve yourself or take exhaust. Your goal is to help your team. Blind does that, shrooms grant vision. Teemo isn't an amazing support but claiming that he's reportable for taking CS and not taking exhaust is crazy.

yes it is.. any support who does not buy a item 2049 is actively HURTING the team.

i mean if she is building correct you CAN teemo support... but the chances a teemo support is actaully going to grab item 3092 and item 2049 with summoner 3 item 3364 item 2055 .. you know bulding CORRECTLY as a support?

if he wanted to do before going full damage after those things... aka play correctly... i doubt he would be picking teemo.

i mean sure its possible to play teemo support correctly... but no one does.

i mean hell i play lux support... and pretty much every game my team starts off going "aww crap a Lux support"

and normally ends with them going "wow your the first Lux support i got that was actaully good" and me going "yeah i get that a lot"

its the same thing with Teemo .. you CAN play it correct as support, but most people who pick it don't...

Honestly it's barely even debateable that you'd need a sightstone with Teemo, as your shrooms grant plenty of vision and you have a large supply of them. It's also not reportable for anyone to not buy sightstone. Again, literally no rule saying that supports have to buy any specific items.

Where did I ever say starve? A good support is never starved because of their gold income item. I also never said support teemo couldn't work in certain situations. One of the funniest combos i've seen is the Cassi/Teemo botlane. With the right players, it's deadly.

Also where did I say reportable for no exhaust. I simply said Teemo lacks major peel. The blind is one form. With exhaust you have two. As a support you want as many tricks up your sleeve as possible. Additionally a couple cs is one thing, robbing half the lane's cs is another. I've seen both happen, and not just with Teemo support.

In conclusion, you might want to learn to ask more questions instead of making assumptions that lead to misguided blanket statements.

You literally said "which doesn't negate** his job** to actually support which includes that not taking CS and peeling for his team( exhaust)", which clearly implies that you're saying it's literally his job to have exhaust because otherwise you wouldn't have even put it there, because everyone knows exhaust is a form of peel. I'm not saying exhaust is a bad idea and that he shouldn't have it, but summoner spells are not required, and taking CS in lane as a support is not "part of the job". Those two things are LITERALLY just meta, and something we've all grown accustomed to and many people apparently consider those "part of the job" when they're not. You're job as a support, is literally that, to help your team. You can do that with some CC, warding up the map, killing the enemy, or a multitude of things. The meta, however is not a support's JOB.

As for the starve comment. Pretty sure every support in existence, and Riot, says that supports get far less gold than anyone else on the map. I'd consider that starving. The meta is that the support starves itself of CS so the bot lane carry can get more gold. This however, is not a rule.

don't forget that his shrooms last longer than traditional wards except for permanent ones

MysterQ1 votes

Wrong. Just trying to win is all that is required.

Oh no he took 38 of your 200 cs (realistically less). Whatever should you do?

Teemo support can work in certain contexts. Is it OP? No. His blind can be strong and if he runes attack speed he has good dmg at range.

But if he's being a jerk support then you could fire that report. It probably won't do anything but if he literally does that every single game annoying every team then maybe he might get a warning or more

no. cant reprot for someone picking a pick liek that

Yes you can

No you can't. Blind + Slows + Zoning + Gank reduction isn't a reportable offense.

actively refusing to help you team is a reportable offense... anyone who deliberately CHOOSES NOT buy a item 2049 as support IS actively refusing to help their team.

the best players in the world literally have TEAMFIGHTS over placing wards.

thats not saying you need to grab it first back... but its normally finished between 8-9 min.

if u dont' have it by 15... something is seriously wrong.. and if u don't have it by 20.. you already lost because of it...

  1. They won.

  2. Looks like they didn't need it in the first place. There are games where you can just rely on trinkets you know.

  3. The fact you believe this teemo stole a huge amount of cs with spellthiefs is astounding....ly amusing.

  4. Mushrooms don't provide vision confirmed. Kappa

No, not reportable.

You can play whatever you want in any role you want, so long as you are genuinely fulfilling that role to the best of your ability and attempting to win the game.

Now, if he was actively trying to steal your role by taking all your cs, then yes, that is reportable; but accidental cs'ing and taking kills and taking other summoner spells is not reportable whatosoever.

Mysticman892 votes

As long as the teemo was actively trying to win, it doesn't matter how they went about doing it.

Sometimes the things people will do while genuinely trying to win can be mindbogglingly bad, and sometimes they may even have the right idea but just be really bad at putting it into practice (e.g. missclicks).

Of course trolls are also a thing, and if they're simply griefing that is reportable, but I'm fine with teemo as a reasonable niche support, and simply being bad at it(/the support role in general) isn't inherently reportable.

You sound incorrect.

If you are a heavy AP damage support, and you are steamrolling lane. Buy damage first. Keep that snowball going. Being stuck in this I must build these item mentality isn't being a good support either. And of course it all depends on the game, but I won't fault someone who builds damage.
