Champion pages in client

I keep finding inaccurate or misleading information in them. Like just today(actually it was earlier this week but I posted it in the Help instead of Champions section), I read(regarding Destiny, something that Twisted Fate uses) "...enabling the use of Gate, which teleports Twisted Fate to any target location in 1.5 seconds." The first time I used the ability, I could not go where I wished to, then I read the ability's description in the game and found out there was a limit, that it was not literally any location as the page explained before playing the champion. So, it appears that generally the most current/accurate information about a champion is found during a game session.

I'm curious to know if it wouldn't be unreasonable to demand that the current/accurate information be given elsewhere than during a game. The tips section is generally very helpful, so it would be nice if the rest of that champion page would be as well. Giving inaccurate or misleading information is not helpful. I do not own the vast majority of champions, so usually I rely on the information at hand in the client. But the information is more often than not, no good. So it's better to rely on memory and force myself to play heroes I don't own every week to try to refresh my memory. Seems inconvenient.

I do not understand why we are unable to get base damages and ratios( including per level) of abilities as an option both ingame and in the champion page in client.

If we have to load a wiki every time we want to check a ratio, it just becomes needless work

Ha. Yes, when I look at the previews of abilities I think, "So how much damage is that? I have no frame of reference as I don't even know the maximum health of the target nor do I know the level of the ability being used."

Riot should hire the people who work the LoL Wiki. Everyone would be happy.

I agree. TF was the worst for me, too. Had absolutely NO idea why Destiny wasn't working so I had to make an empty custom match and level up to go figure it out. Skill descriptions should be more or less what you see in game, include what the ratios are or at least what they scale off of, show what items they might typically use (a noob looking at what Tristana's abilities scale off of might think she builds AP exclusively), and champion page imo should have a 3D model viewer or video (like it does for abilities) for each skin.
