Current Game Balance is a Tire Fire

Even more so than recent offseasons. I find the game literally unplayable in its current state. Thoughts?

I've resorted to playing mostly just arams... damage is still to high for any bruiser class champs like olaf to function.

The game is unplayable now? Were you around for Ardent? Cause.....the meta then was so bad that you might as well have run it down mid the moment their bot lane got rolling.

Personally I have enjoyed this preseason immensely. It feels far more interesting then last preseason, and top lane doesn't feel as isolated and helpless anymore. Are there problems? Absolutely. But League just went through the largest update in its history. The fact it isn't more unbalanced after that is very impressive imo. I would go so far as to say it feels more balanced here in preseason than it did around World's last season.

The game is "literally" playable, but I have found it unenjoyable.

So let's review...

Playing Support: The level disparity between laners and supports is even more of a factor in how useless you are in the mid game than ever. Even building purely defensively I am blown up faster than ever and, therefore, have practically no impact on the outcome of a teamfight. The big exception to the rule is if I play Karma whereby I am virtually unkillable with the Ultimate Hat and virtually continuous mantras. Support has been feeling less satisfying over the last two seasons, but now it is just a shit-show.

Playing ADC: You either get the first kill in lane and then win lane or you give up the first kill in lane and lose it. Comebacks? Forget it, whichever jungler ganks first or whoever gets caught out of position first wins the lane, period... there have been---and I'll use the word properly here---LITERALLY zero exceptions in my games so far. The bot lane that gives up the first kill loses their lane, period. This isn't exclusive to bot lane though.

Laning Phase Ends before 10 minutes almost always: Remember the laning phase? Yeah, it's over by 6-8 minutes in well over half of my games now and it almost never goes beyond 10 minutes. Damage is so insane right now that trades in lane are basically a thing of the past, your first skirmish usually results in death and that usually results in the loss of lane.

Games are decided by 10-15 minutes. The outcome of most games is a foregone conclusion by about the 10-15 minute mark almost always. I have yet to have a game last longer than 28 minutes so far, a few have my friends have had games drag on into the 35 minute range, but in reality, games are over at 15 minutes and most end in a surrender.

I'd love to see an experiment whereby damage is reduced by 25% across the board, just to see what would happen.
