Clarification on Shen's Ultimate

So when I ult to someone, I'm sure I'll land in different places according to the movement of the champion I'm ulting to. I.E. if they are kiting back, I might land between them and where they're running from, whereas if they are pursuing, I might land behind where they're going. But if the player is static, where in reference to them will I land? I ask because usually post teleport, positioning will be important.
