Ghost Game(I think)

Was in champion select for a ranked game, our third pick selected Amumu, timer ran out so it should have locked him, but instead the word "Picking" was still visible next to him and no timer started for the enemy team's pick. We sat there chatting in champ select lobby for a bit until I logged out(through Task Manager). Last time this happened, I remember every time I tried to log back in, the client thought I was still in a game, and it would try to connect me to a game that didn't exist, so I just had to wait it out for the server to stop trying to throw me into some ghost game. Now, login states no response from servers. Hope nothing's wrong!
