Some wukong feedback
Hello, wukong enthusiast since season 2, took a break for the last season until I heard wukong was getting an update, heres some thoughts:
Passive: love love love the new %amp and its interaction with new W, however I feel the stone skin is a bit much, 40-50 armor and mr just for playing the game. I think it functions in its goal of allowing wukongs itemization to be flexible but it just seems a little cheap.
New Q: love the passive component however I wish it had a different animation (maybe wukongs very cool and good crit animation??). It does less damage and doesnt heal so it shouldnt look the same (although it can feel like rengar QQ which has a real ferocious game feel)
Active is fine. I get the magic damage split makes lethality builds less attractive but the heal is a godsend, jungle wukong buffs are very welcome for a long time wukong jungle player
New W: love it, it's a much more functional version of its previous iteration, it helps him clear, and it's a viable damage option. The little dash is real nice although I wish he had invulnerability frames during the spin like fizz e, but that might be too op.
New E: love it, I like how the clones arent just particles, actually gives wukong disruptive gameplay when combo'd with new W.
R: quality of life buff is nice for the R input, might want to put a 1 second lock out of the r cancel Input tho, people might double cast cancel their ulti and that'd be painful
As a wukong player I'm extremely thrilled that riot is giving wukong an update that gives him everything he needs to be a successful carry fighter.
If I was any of my opponents I'd be pissed that wukong just got a ton of crazy buffs and all of his damage is still targeted still.
Personal preference for adjustments- -reduce or remove the defense bonuses from passive. Wukong should be a squishy fighter whose about evading damage and not taking damage. Imo.
-Q should be a skill shot at some point down the road, just so he's got more counterplay in 1v1 but maybe also give him ranged farming tool?, can keep the passive auto attack enhancer.
-seriously. Repurpose that very sexy crit animation.
-W should have invulnerability frames as compensation for loss of resists from passive.
