No more sympathy for silver/bronze players

Especially silver 3-5 players. Most crying I hear is people in silver 3 or lower and I have to say I just don't get it. I know this makes me sound like a dick but I am being honest. Now if you look yes... my account is silver 2 currently in promos. So yes... this account is silver. Also my other accounts are only gold 4 & 5 so yes... I am not close to pro and I am a noob like the rest of you. The difference is I realize this and instead of getting pissed or crying I suck it up and use all my noob strength to try and win every game I play.

The reason I no longer have sympathy for players stuck in this range is this. I use this account to play ranked with my friends. The last couple of days I have been duoing with a friend who keeps jumping between silver 4-5. He is pissed and tilted and complaining about teammates and "I can only win when I play with you". I know the real reason he keeps losing but its hard to make him realize he is tilted and the problem. Anyways since I duo with him we vs maybe one other silver 1 or gold 5 player while everyone else in the game is generally silver 3-5. And honestly... the average players at those ranks are not that good. As shitty as I am I am able to carry a lot of games playing vs players in this range. If you play solo then you play more players in gold so It does make it a little different, but still quite manageable. I am a jungle main and really have only recently started trying to win consistently and started playing my jungle champions again. This shows that just because your main might be one rank does not mean you can just go play any character and every role and still play at the same skill level. But when I play jungle with my main champs I find this range of players pretty easy.

I know Diamond and up players would shit on me and say getting through gold & maybe plat is easy and their right. This game is all about knowing what you know and being able to play effectively. If you can compete at a master level anything lower than master is going to be easy for you. Just like playing anything lower than gold for me doesn't seem too difficult.

tl,dr if you are stuck at a rank then you are playing at that rank level. If you are silver 3 or lower then I really have no idea why you complaining because a majority of players in that range really have no idea wtf they doing.

Call me names I don't care. Just saying.... stop the blame game and just play the game. Stop holding yourselves back.

In all seriousness, I know actually talented support mains who can't carry their games. Why? Support is based around helping spoon-feeding their adc. That means if their adc is bad, they have lost lane. (Unless you're an ap support mage, in which case you build ap and try to salvage bot)

What do you expect? Most of LoL community is in bronze/silver.Do you expect that all players who are bronze/silver need to play like challenger? I am a silver 2 player myself.

I started from bronze 3 then decided that its enough and i will try harder.Next thing you know,im silver 2.

I am not a toxic player i just focus on myself instead of my teammates.

Everyone should do that,they should focus on their on gameplay,but in silver/bronze don't expect they will do that.That is the main reason bronze players lose the game.They are mostly toxic because they think they are better.

I just ignore them and focus on myself.Use the mute button if you have to.If you just focus objectives instead of arguing with teammates you have a bigger chance of winning the game.Later they will either thank you or just leave.

P.S : You can talk all you want about LoL community they don't care.Let them be,they are not the best players but they will get better in time.... maybe.... idk....

True. At least you have the right attitude and I am sure you will continue to improve. I know whats its like to be toxic and blame others for my lack of skill and it really took a toll on me. Finally decided to just chill the F out and focus on myself and now the game is a lot more fun. And I actually started to rank up too. Just want other players to realize this so they can enjoy playing the game more.

My goal is to reach Gold before the season ends.I know i can do it.

My advise for other players(bronze,silver) who want to climb faster is:

  1. Play safe.Don't go super aggresive at level 1/2 and give first blood.

  2. Focus on objectives instead of kills. A lot of bronze players just go for the kill instead of what they really need to do to win the game.

3.Never rage at your teammates.This is the main reason i hated being bronze.They would die,blame you for their obvious mistake and they would go afk/troll.

4.Focus on yourself.Focus on your own score and mistakes instead of others.If they flame you,just type /ignore all. Problem solved :)

5.This is the most important part in LoL if you want to win. JUST WARD ! I am so sick of teammates getting ganked when they did not ward and go 0/10 then blame their jungler for their mistakes.

Don't get discouraged by Gold promos if you fail haha. Literally took me 4 tries last season and 3 tries on both my accounts this season to win those damn promos haha. Promos in this game are the worst :( At least there is promo helper now.

The weirdest games are promos,i know.Like when i was bronze 1,i was in silver promos 4 TIMES AND FAILED! Always when you are in promos something happens.

I would do good in lane but i would always hear AN ALLY HAS BEEN SLAINED and then i lose promos. Then they would blame me for their mistakes.

Eventually i got out of bronze(barely).

P.S: I know that i am not the only player that has a similar problem so i created a discussion called : For all bronze/low silver players I know the struggle of climbing cause of elo hell so i made this discussion.

I wouldn't agree. I myself am Bronze II. I don't really play much competitively, but I know many talented people who are kind of stuck in their elos. The hidden elo aspect ist kind of crappy sometimes. And oftentimes you just can't hardcarry games. Some people are talented at soloing, mechanics, and so on playing champions like Khazix Vayne Kalista Fiora and so on. Other people are more talented in playing with a team, with characters such as Shen Janna RekSai . You often can't carry a game as a support. And carrying with utility tanks like Rek'Sai and Shen might be possible for people on high dia elo even up till playing in gold and low plat. But as a player with the skill of a plat, your stuck in silver/low gold. Solo queqe is a hard place. Especially if you get tilted fast. Then it becomes a game of patience. summoner 1

Honestly bronze is super easy I have been soloing my way out of it since season 3. Like I would f around and stomp kids in bronze back when I could not get past silver 2. I get that it is easy to tilt in bronze but the thing is as poor as your teammates may play so does the enemy team. There are so many mistakes and advantages the enemy gives you in bronze that its pretty simple to carry and win a lot of those games.

Ranked is definitely a grind there is no doubt about that and requires a lot of patience. You have to figure out what works for you and in your elo and then get better at playing w/e that is.

One thing I see a lot of players in bronze do is keep playing champions or roles they poor at. Like someone will have 30 games played as Sona support and will have a 30% win percent as her but keep playing her. Its like... you clearly don't know how to play sona so focus on learning someone else who is more your style.

I was talking to one player who was stuck in bronze and he spams mostly Azir mid. Like.... yea Azir is op in the LCS and like Diamond 3 and up..... but his skill requirement is quite large. I stay away from playing him because its just not worth it unless you know how to play the game and are really really mechanically good. That or all these kids in bronze/silver/gold who spam Yasuo and have no idea really how to play him. You see him almost every game in bronze & silver and its ridiculous. I love getting the free wins when he on the enemy team but when he on your team its like a huge handicap most of the time. Which is why I pretty much just ban Yasuo so my teammates don't take him when playing on this account. Or silver/bronze Riven mains.....
