Okay seriously, I'm done losing games because someone fucking disconnects leaving the rest to fend for themselves in a 4v5. This is bullshit. Worst of all, I lose just as many points as if it were a fair fight. Riot, what the literal fuck. Seriously. Can't their be like a half point reduction, or IMMUNITY if it's not even a fair fight and you ACTUALLY PUNISH THE PEOPLE WHO ARE RUINING GAMES. It's so STUPID.

I'm just trying to make it to Gold for the Victorious Skin. Started at Bronze 5. Worked up to Silver 2. Was halfway up and 3 games in a row get trolled by an AFKer. I'm so over this. It's impossible.

You also win full points when it happens to the enemy team. And to be honest, it happens more often that you are willing to accept.

If you're tilting over games you can't win, you probably need to review the way you play the game and focus only on things you can only affect.

OH HEY you unfairly lose points when you have a leaver and you unfairly gain points when the enemy has a leaver. Therefore it's balanced and fine, right?

Hate it when it happens. Its not to rare to still be able to play if the other team isn't doing good but who wants to take those chances? I for one feel bad for those who AFK. Majority of the time, they're kids who want to play but things just get in the way. I've been there. This game seriously takes too long in my opinion and I miss the showdown game mode that simplified this.

If they flat out did what you're suggesting it would get abused instantly ie. People pulling the plug on their router/modem if they're losing or general jerks that doesn't it so no one can go anywhere in the rankings and you just sit at the same lp.

A complicated problem like this needs more than a simple solution.

Simple, if there is an afk on your team, if you lose, you lose less LP, but the afk takes the difference and loses that much more LP. The enemy team also wins less LP.

If you have an afk but win, then the afk still loses LP, but the team gains more LP, what the afk would have gotten, but divided among the leftover players.

So in theory, if it's a 1v5, and the 1 wins, that player will get his winning LP+ the LP of the afks, while the afks will all lose LP.

Only applies to SoloQ though.
