Unpopular opinion: Tank Meta was the best meta.

Disagree all you want, but tank meta was the the most healthy for tactical gameplay. We had skirmishes and engages which last for more than a second. ADC were viable, but not too oppressive. Assassin were viable enough to assassinate ADCs. Jungle was open to a lot of positions, not just tank junglers. Bruisers were definitely weaker than tanks, but not to the point where a tank can push all the way to inhibitor turret by 15 minutes. Mages and support had the ability to peel off tanks and survive long enough for DPS to kill the tanks.

This is refering to season 5 tank meta.

The next best would've been season 3's fuck ADC but keep everything else viable meta.

my god "X being OP" isnt the best "meta", and it never will be... thats not even using the word "meta" correctly... when the game is BALANCED, and when no class is significantly OP compared to any other... that's when the game is good.

this isnt supposed to be "ok its this class turn to be broken" and 6 months from now its the next class' turn to be broken, its SUPPOSED to be BALANCED

I would like to add that ADC's were more than viable. They were ESSENTIAL to kill the tanks in a general comp and tanks still fell off hard later.

Tanks need somewhere to go right now. If they want top lane to be dominated by fighters and bruisers, then maybe they should bring them back into the jungle.
