One thing I've been wondering about Ivern... (@Riot)

So when it comes to his shrines how will they interact with enemy junglers? Will an enemy jungler attacking jungle creatures that Ivern has placed a shrine on cancel that shrine? Or will the shrine still count down while they're attacking it? If the shrine counts down to zero when an enemy is attacking the creatures will Ivern gain all the experience/gold for the remaining jungle creeps that are alive?

Also, since smite apparently instantly frees jungle camps will Ivern be able to contest a blue or red buff for instance by placing a shrine on a camp that is being attacked and then smiting? If so that feels like it could be overpowered.

Some clarity regarding this mechanic would be greatly appreciated!

His shrines countdown by themselves but to actually finish the job and free them, he has to come back. So you can just kill them first.

Yes, his Smite instantly frees any non-epic. But then you realize you can just ward around the buff pits and drive him off if he tries to come because he has near no combat potential.
