Riot any comments on why this wouldn't work?

I REALLY wish there was a way to not allow childeren (and immature people) to play this game. This summer is so full of toxicity in matches. It's the worst I have seen. In the winter, since i work second shift, I could play at night when I got off of work for a few hours and do really well in all my matches and win lots of the games. Now that school is out, there are so many trolls, afk and toxic waste being spewed out of children's mouths that this game isn't even fun. I play this game for fun and stress relief. How can it be that this community has less toxicity during times of schooling and then all of a sudden late may till late august toxic players just come flooding in. Answer? CHILDREN. An age restriction is not going to work on this game because people can lie about their age but, you know what would work riot? requiring you to enter a valid credit/debit card in order to sign up. That would take care of a lot of the problems. Wouldn't eliminate it by far but the stress levels and toxicity in the game would decrease dramaticly.

Long story short. Ban these kids that throw matches because they don't get what they want and you would make people a lot happier. I'm not spending another dollar on this game until things change and I am not playing ranked the rest of this summer even if it means i get demoted to a lower tier/division. I don't care. I have had it.

If you could get back to me on my earlier post about my solo/duo queue suggestion also riot that would be appreciated.

I pretty much blame the kids' parents for not knowing how to discipline their own spoilt children.

Kids had there chance at playing the game. They proved all they can do is run their mouths and throw every match possible with 0 consequences. And if you read correctly you would see it says immature people too as in adults not just children. All the toxic/trolls/afk players deserve to be banned. Every player I've met that was banned has never done it again because they realize afterwards that it isnt worth it. These petty little warnings that are given out instead serve no purposes as they are ignored and the same happens the next match over and over. It's a never ending cycle due to brats and imbeciles

You could say that about any game. They can't go around trying to find out who is actually underage and ban them. That is just ridiculous. Report them if they are toxic or whatever and move it. You really shouldn't let some random kids get to you like this.

yes because parents will NEVER open up their wallets on the likely promise that it'd get the little hellions to shut op for over 30 hours a week at no actual cost whatsoever.

Even if riot could stop them from signing up, they wouldn't. lowering your market without being legally mandated to is an excellent first step towards bankruptcy.

TLDR; we'll keep the kids. see ya.
