My Issue with poppy... hear me out

Just played as Veigar top against a poppy

We won the game, so lets get that out of the way, and i did very well, went 8-2-10

So whats my issue you ask?

When poppy ends the game at 2-5-6, and builds why the hell is she able to straight up TANK my damage at 1100 AP??? Even without any Magic pen what so ever... how the fuck can she just TANK veigar damage with ONE and a HALF magic resist items?

Am i missing something here? i mean really... thats fucking absurd

She also gains resists passively, doubled below half health. Its why she's so tanky.

Poppy is probley the tankyest champs in the game. You kind of need pen to deal with her.

So? That still only adds about a 1000 damage to your W, which then only does 1300 or so damage, your Q does less then this, meanwhile poppy has a hp bar of 3000+, figure in resistance and you'll have to do around 6000 point of damage to her, roughly speaking, probably more. A single rotation isn't going to kill her, not even if you use your ult.

Even Veigar could use magic penetration to kill tanks silly boy.

She had a lot of hp More than one full MR item is actually quite a bit of MR Given that the damage from your R depends on how much of the enemy's health is missing, all the MR she has basically counts double (reducing your initial burst so the R has less amp'd damage, then reducing the R's damage again with the actual MR) Burst champions are bad against tanks for these very reasons
