Trying To Learn Kindred, Any Tips?

Tip 1: Don't. Her passive is too useless if the enemy jungle is even slightly competent. Your marks will straight lead you to your death.

But, if you do even slightly think about selecting Kindred, just remember that you'll be completely useless if you fall behind. So get ahead early. An early mark can mean the difference of a fantastic game or a horrible one.

I would also recommend ganking top rather than bot. It's just easier that way.

I've played Kindred maybe once, but if your looking for advice, this is the place to get it.

You beat me to it. She's just been overall terrible since they nerfed her after the great Graves-Kindred Meta of Season 6. Its really depressing too, always been one of my favorite champions.

Don't listen to what anyone says about Kindred being terrible. Shes not, shes NOT the best pick but shes far from worst. Kindred is medicore high skillcap champion. If you learn how to play Kindred, youll be fine. Check out my last few games (Normals tho, i am testing new system so I dont play rankeds)

Here are some Kindreds pros and cons.

Pros: Good early game at lvl 3. Good jungle clear. Awesome at 1 v 1 and counterjungling. Beastmode lategame. Good teamfighter.

Cons:

Terrible mid game. Bad at scrimishes (midgame) Ult bot if behind, means you are just another support. Tricky ultimate. You can easily screw up your team with it.

As for her passive, its easy. You don't have to go to the enemy jungle, just get two marks from the crab and rest from kills and assists. 8 marks is more than enough.

I suggest tou to gank top and mid lane rather than bot, i find it easier with kindred. Use Warrior, AS boots, Shiv > IE or BC and you are GtG.

Kindred is not weak, she just doesnt fit every teamkomp like Kha, Elise, Lee for example. Play Kindred against squishy teams, play her if you have dive teamcomp and dont play her if enemy has a lot of assassins.

Honestly? I find kindred to be a ton of fun. What I do is mostly just try to get my scuttle marks early game, and mark the enemy jg because it's most likely to skirmish with them.

Kindred is a TON of fun, but she does take patience to learn. I'm still not amazing with her, but I can see her potential.

What I think what to do is after mid game starts look for low health squishies or tanks to land you mark on so you could kill them and score some team gold
