What has truly and in a 100% sincere manner has left me surprised is that in this season, the champion breaking items is not 
..... his 5 year streak of single-handedly breaking almost every new/reworked item has finally ended.

What you guys fail to realize is that Ezreal is SUPPOSED TO DO THIS! He was specifically designed to use on hit effects with his 'q'. And unlike other abilities that use on hit effects, you can dodge Ezreal's 'q', so there's way more counterplay. Also, Ezreal isn't the only champ with an ability that procs on hit effects.

The word you're looking for is isn't, not wasn't. Wasn't would imply the past, but this is happening now. Anyways, maybe this season yes, he's not abusing the OP items (like duskblade), but he was implying that in previous seasons Ezreal was "breaking" items, which is not true in the slightest.

Idk duskblades pretty fucking good on ez.

they dont get the slow anymore for example.
