@Riot, Please don't remove Clarity.

Clarity was, admittedly, one of the worst summoner spells in the entire game, matched only with {{summoner:2}} . But it had so much potential for buffs and reworks, especially now since mana potions have been removed! The approach you originally took, to be a heal, except for your mana, wasn't... bad. It just wasn't a necessarily the smartest approach. You shouldn't treat them like the same, even though they are on the surface. Health is essential; mana is not.

I've assembled a way you could buff summoner 13:

1. The Blue Buff Approach:

Mana is one of the biggest problems AP Mages have in the mid lane. After the removal of mana potions, that problem has only grown, since in order to do maximum damage, they need a reliable mana pool. So what do they do? They ask for Blue Buff. How about learn from it, and modify it to act like a mini-blue buff?

You could make it provide 15 flat mana per second, for a duration of 100 seconds. It also provides 10% mana instantly, aswell as reduce the mana cost of abilities by 10% while Clarity is active. See, this provides long term sustain, rather then focus on an immediate boost. Keep in mind, these current numbers aren't set in stone.

This both, lets the Jungler keep their own blue buff more often, as well as provide an alternative for the standard summoner 4 /summoner 14 .

So Riot, do you plan to remove Clarity for good? Or is it just shelved for the moment?

If you guys have a suggestion, leave it down below.

It was only removed on Summoner's Rift, where mana management should be a priority to learn.

It's still there for ARAM, dominion, and (I'm pretty sure) Twisted Treeline, where the focus is on fighting, not resource management and long term strategy
