total bonus= 699.34% attack speed

Base attack speed 0.665

0.665 x 6.9934= 4.65 attack speed

This is normally lowered to 2.5 due to the attackspeed cap.

But Kog is about to get the ability to ignore that.

Also, he will double that number when he activates W

with a full attackspeed setup, teamcomp, and build, sits at 9.301222 attacks per second.

It caps at 5 attacks per second (double the normal cap)

To me, it seems that he removes the attackspeed cap entirely.

This is the PBE board post for KogMaw, currently. It states: "While W is active, Kog'Maw attacks twice as fast, and his Attack Speed cap is doubled to 5 attacks per second."

with a full attackspeed setup, teamcomp, and build, sits at 9.301222 attacks per second.

His max attack speed with no abilities activated is still 2.5. When he activates his W, it doubles his attack speed and his attack speed cap, allowing you to go to 5 AS assuming you were at 2.5 previous to activating. It should be noted that during this time, his basics only deal 60% damage though. Still great, because on hits are applied at full strength.

Can you imagine a 5 attack per second Kog with bork and hurricane? Fun stuff.
