Lets talk Master Yi (garbage champ)

In every single region Plat+ elo he has a negative winrate between 46-48%. You can build him On-hit or Crit, but this preseason the on-hit build is dead because he can't assassinate the squishes fast enough. He is countered by every meta jungler in the game like Sejuani/Rammus/Khazix and so on. In season 7 on the big servers like NA, KOREA and EUW there were no Master Yi mains higher than Diamond (because the champ is garbage). With all that being said can you honestly say the champ doesn't need buffs? Just because a champ is god-tier in silver doesn't mean you shouldn't look into the champ. I feel like no champ should have a 46% winrate in some regions Plat+.

He could use some skill expression based abilities for that...if he is outright buffed, he’d be too good below Plat, which comprises that vast majority of players (I think 89% of players)

Would rather they relaunch instead of buff an outdated champ.

The areas I'd like to see him buffed would be Q cd (lower base CD , but less CD reduction on autos), potentially (crazy?) allow his on-hit to crit, but mostly he needs his ultimate to be more reliable : revert the nerfs on cd and initial duration, you can revert the buffs on kill/assist bonus duration and enhanced duration using W these are unnecessary and occupy useless and too situational power budget. And you could potentially slightly buff the movespeed he gets outran by a lot of champions while under ult it's kinda stupid

Yi is not weak. not by a long shot. Some players just pick him into the wrong teams, dive fights they can't get out of, and pull the rate down. Competent high elo Yi players who know exactly what teams to build him into are doing fine. The yi players who pick or get counterpick with an Annie or Kalista which disrupt his Q cooldowns, ofc are largely losing.
