Can we do something about Vayne?

Being able to play adc and just get all attack speed items and win because of a single one of your skills is insanely broken. Why does her W do true damage? True damage doesn't belong in this game in the first place, and she's given 8% every 3 attacks? Assuming she only has 2.0 attack speed she still does 16% of your health with just that skill in 3 seconds. Not to mention if she gets an IE and a blade her autos will do a ton of damage along with it. Basically all items are way too good on vayne because of her ridiculous E, not to mention there's so few champs that can 1v1 her late game. You basically have to be playing a 100-0 assassin with some sort of long range dash to get to her. In this tank meta where every single person on the team has peel for her, I don't see why she's allowed to completely destroy every champion on the enemy team in a matter of seconds. And thanks to black cleaver now she can kite even better than before, so if you think you might be able to get her you're literally dead wrong.

Every single adc in the this game beats her 1v1 once they build a banshee veil. I'm not kidding Caitlin who has no steroids in her kit aside from her passive will beat vayne 1v1 if she buys a banshee because she does far more raw damage than the average vayne build. Vayne is really only good at killing tanks and cleaning up fights, everything else you might want an adc to do most other adcs will do it better

But not every adc has an 8% max hp true damage every 3 hits passive. You can build thornmail and have gromp against most adc's. Try that shit on vayne and she'll be laughing her way through your nexus.

Again, whenever I am adc against a vayne I buy a banshee veil. Her dps doesn't exceed most full damage champions because her w is too dependant on max health. Every other adc can beat vayne in a duel so long as condemn doesn't stun them and with a banshee vayne can't do shit. I have had a number of games where vayne beat me in several duels in a row but when I finished banshees she fell flat on her face every single time.

See the key thing is that a lot of Vaynes do end up being garbage, and you also have to account for the fact that whenever they aren't, that almost universally means their opponent is already behind and would naturally lose a 1v1. On an equal footing, most ADCs can win a 1v1 against her because her kit is designed to counter high health high durability melee tanks. Her true damage deals a piddly little amount vs another squishy, and since most of her damage comes from that proc (she doesn't build for massive crits and lifesteal like most other ADCs, even with BotRK), a comparatively squishy yet far more damaging opponent will out-trade her.

Vayne has a low area of threat. Yes she can chase down and 1v1 targets, that's her forte. But none of her abilities has a range greater than her auto-attack range (which is 550, low enough for many gapclosers to reach her). I can't think of any other ranged ADC that has a complete lack of poke.

So what your saying is you hate Vayne because you can do 16% max health true damage in 3 sceonds, which is somehow worse then Xerath or Viktor, or any other apc who can do half your health with a basic ability. Wat.

not to mention most "standard build" ADCs deal roughly 10-15% of a tank's HP in damage just because they basic attack for that much (800 damage crits are not uncommon in most games).

Vayne IS a major duelist, it's her one trade, so you're at fault for trying to 1vs1 her.

Her range, however, puts her at a major disadvantage in teamfights, which is were almost every other ADC excel her (Hell, even Quinn).

Complaining about Vayne's measly 8% True damage just shows a lack of understanding of how Vayne works, or how ADC works, or how the game works.

Vayne's true damage only accounts for a minor percentage of her damage output unless you have an absurd amount of Tank stats, and for the most part it's weaker than most abilities ADCs have.

If you're trying to 1v1 a champion that specializes in single target DPS, then that's your own damn fault.
