Are BF Sword and Needlessly Large Rod getting the build path update?

Since Riot has been on a role with giving build paths to some of the more expensive item components. Saving up ~1.6k for a single buy is brutal.

Disagree. The build path distinguishes bruisers from ADCs. If bruisers could build up to a BF sword without losing their power spikes then there's little to distinguish bruiser itemization and ADC itemization. As of now, bruisers have to build smaller items like BoRK and TriForce with easier build paths because they're in solo lanes where they have to back frequently unless snowballing, and if you back with nothing to show for it coming back, your opponent who built something will win lane.

No. It's hard on purpose. It's to create decisions in lane and because of riot's ADC philosophy they scale LATE game, not early game also to differentiate adcs who rush pickaxe vs bf stay in lane farming at a disadvantage for a huge power spike or get a pickaxe for power early?

I think the point of those items are exactly that they are extremely expensive, because they are extremely cost effective.

the build path is intended to slow down early game power spikes for ranged ad.

No. The reason they have done it with Giant's belt, armor, and magic resist is because defensive items are reactionary buys. If you are having a hard time in lane, you can sacrifice to get a little survivability to help you out. Damage, however, is something that is proactive. You make that decision to stay in lane and try and hit the BF or Needlessly, while your opponent may have already gone back and bought item 1052 item 1036 item 1026 or item 1037. You sacrifice power at that moment in order to hit harder once you hit that spike

i personally would like it if they made the items build out of each other [same total costs] so amplifying tome into blasting wand into needlessly large rod --- and long sword into pickaxe into b.f. sword

what this would do is make it so that players behind won't be as behind if the ahead opponent can get b.f. sword but the behind opponent can only get pickaxe, you can build pickaxe and have a better comeback chance since you can upgrade it into b.f. sword for your b.f. item like infinity edge --- of course this a marksmen only strat since other roles don't build b.f. sword items and shouldn't outside of marksman ---

for large rod, this would smooth out very clunky build paths - but mainly will help supports that like getting large rod items like hourglass because their gold is so limited and 1600g is such a big investment for one purchase for a role that doesn't get gold and needs to back to get sightstone charges so you get small gold purchases at a time ---

there were other things i was going add but i forgot them ; but overall, the smoother build paths for bf sword and large rod would be better for the game overall
