Ok So the Shock is Over (Karma)

We have been left in the dark for the most part and that is not inherently wrong, but after the abysmal showcase of their planned changes for Karma I really hope they reconsider what they are doing. I really hope that they let the community know in the next week what Riot and more specifically NeuroCat thinks is the best choice to do since the community feedback was drastically worse than I believe they would be hoping for.

Finally thoughts for about a week on the subject

  1. Please rethink the focus on the changes so it is focused towards both Mid and Support Karma.
  2. Please rethink bringing the fans back.
  3. Please rethink the ally W.

I still have hope but it is dwindling.

Well, NeuroCat was only able to reveal the abilities after them being softlocked, soooo....

Ok, so what are you implying? The changes got a horrendous response and action should be taken to save them from a larger fallout. Either tell us why we are wrong to be made and prove to us how this is not going to destroy Karma, or admit to the mistake they have made and go back to the drawing boards.

I am heavily debating those changes myself, as can be seen in NeuroCat's post.

But NeuroCat won't be around for much longer, so I doubt she is going (to be allowed) to take up the pencil again. Sure, I think it's ass, that we get confronted with the final deal and have to eat it up, then maybe wait for another 3 years to get any of our concerns adressed and then having to read the argument "well, current Karma fans are used to this now, so...", but yeah, apparantly that's how they wanna handle this.

Wait is she leaving Riot or being pushed to another project? Just curious. Either way if these go through once she is played in LCS it will be about 1 month and she will get gutted and then in about 3 months after that she will be back to her pre rework playrate. These need to be reconsidered and if they are not all of the remaining Karma players from pre rework will leave the champion behind forever which is sad.

She is gonna work on another game by Riot, to finally put the "S" in Riot GameS.

I am so fearing of a time where there is an even NEWER set of Karma fans who tell Old Karma fans (pre 3.5) and newer Karma fans (3.5-5.10) and the last Karma fans (5.10-now) to shut up and get over it. Because CDR is clearly her identity, not duality, or shieldbomb or massive group shielding, pfffft.

I mean if these go through I very well doubt any pre 3.5 and 10% or less 3.5-5.10 Karma players will be left.

Edit fixed numbers.

Using the rug they sweep criticism under as an argument for not making up for their mistake sounds like reasonable business - since it please more people now - but is asinine if you think about your player retention and branding.

I agree

She is doing another project.

I mean that's what they did with the relaunch. They clearly don't care. As I have been saying, Meddler is the root of the problem. She reported to him and he basically told her what was allowed and what to do. We were never going to get anything we wanted in the Reddit post.

Oh so that means it is going through regardless?

I fear only very little change is going to made to them, if any.
