I'm sorry. I didn't realize as the top laner of the team that I'm supposed to be the roaming fuckboy who follows every one of your orders. It's not my job to give you a gank the second my Teleport comes up because you keep dying. It's your fault. Not mine. Sure, I'll give you a teleport if there's 3+ people staying around or a teamfight just so they won't be as cocky, but god damnit I'm supposed to stay top and get farm so I can get items and help the team out, not be forced to miss out on my CS as the early-mid game carry, so I can help the late game carries get fed and win us teamfights. And then when I do give you a teleport, you say that it was a shitty teleport gank and I get "kys" in chat.

I see now that all the shit supports go through is being transferred to top lane. Yes. I am salty about it.

I had the nerve of bot-lane telling me that I lost their lane. I'm top. And I lost their lane. Even though I hard-push top and shit on malphite.

it's because apparently, the "meta" is to 4man clown fiesta bottom with double TP every game. I seriously hate how if you don't join in on the botlane fiesta no matter what you've gained on the rest of the map your team will still hate you.

Or when someone starts complaining the sec you use to to get back to lane because the lane opponent is pushed to your tower. God forbid you not use your summoner spell to act like a teleporting jungler because your team can't not lose their own lane.

All people want to do is go "well we are losing, guess we should group"

Wait...what? So we are behind in gold, no dragons, but we should start team fighting to catch back up?....good luck with that.

Now I will say that Tryndamere's power in a teamfight is greatly under-appreciated (especially if he rocks the out-roam for some sick 4v5 action) but yeah I agree with you 100%.

People just say stuff like "group" as though it's a magic cure-all. I'm all down for playing aggressive while behind but I'd rather try and force picks or 3v2s and shit than hope for sick outplays in a 5v5.

The amount of times I see something happening, tp that instant, and by the damn time I get there either my team has ran, won the fight, or are already dead. Then I hear how terrible or "late" my tp was.

Not my damn fault Riot keeps nerfing the channel time.

Actually taking teleport to top lane is certainly necessary, if not required. It gives you global prescence meaning that if a teamfight breaks out 4v4 you can tele in and make it a 5v4 and win it. You are not supposed to afk farm top lane, that is literally the most annoying thing i see most top laners do. It loses games when you dont make an impact on your team.

It's not necessary in soloQ. Games are so unorganized that you can win by just snowballing your lane with ignite/exhaust, pushing that first turret and then roaming. I prefer TP, though, because botlane ganks are the easiest way to get fed in higher elo imo.

Teleport is a garbage summoner spell ever since the 1 second added to the channel time. I never take it, and it's not shitter elo either.

The only thing TP is good for anymore is getting back to lane. The only point you should take it is into hard counters or when you think you'll be pushed out of lane.

An an ADC main I fully support this post. However, I will say that if you have TP available and it looks like your bot lane is about to get boned by a 4/5 man bot please strongly consider at least channeling TP to dissuade them from tower diving us. Also, if you are mid or top and the enemy team 4/5 mans bot lane for the love of god hard push your lanes and try to take the tower so we don't get double killed AND lose first tower gold.

I've had zac players cry because I wasn't following their every fight and when he lost 1v1 in jungle I was blamed since I didn't teleport to his blobs.

So I'm a 300k Fiora main, and I can still carry 56% of my games when botlane feeds in 90% of them. The trick is to not to help botlane, get first tower up top, counter jungle topside jg, roam mid. Use tp to pick off towers or save them.

Worst thing is when botlane feeds and asks for a tp to help them, but the only place to tp is their tower…

This can definitely be the case if your top lane opponent is constantly tp'ing down bot and you either don't tp by choice or because you used it to get back to lane because you were greedy or because you screwed up.

Easiest way I win ranked games as wukong top is to ask bot to deep ward and tp bot after lvl 6 for easy double kill and first turret blood.

Had a Poppy game a while back against After the first few trades I killed him for a misplay and made it clear he would regret trying to hit my tower. He cleared fast to roam since he had no clear way to kill me and guess what? Bot lane gives him 3 kills while mid is there and says it is my fault for not pressuring Renekton. I didn't win outright fights with him which was why i was playing tower defense in the first place. The jungler never came my way so I just held my lane the best I could without feeding the snowbally top laner. However, his 3 kills allowed him to 1v2 the jungler and mid laner later on so I knew I couldn't do jack or shit to him at that point. When we lost my team flamed me for not making an impact on any other lane. Sad thing is the enemy team defended me saying I was in a losing lane to begin with and still managed to make Renekton hate being top lane and bot lane shouldn't have had map awareness like a couple of braindead squirrels. Is it really my fault the only thing i could do to a 3/1/0 Renekton as a 0/0/0 Poppy is nearly die by disrupting his teleport?

I run TP for the free back since that's more useful than a combat summoner currently since wave control is more of a big deal top than any other lane, at least in Dia+ where freezes happen more frequently. If they changed TP so you can't use it to get to bot until like 20mins in then I'd still probably run it. TP plays bot were hard enough when it had a 3.5 second delay.
