how does getting keys and and blue essence work?

I have gotten an S or S- multiple times with Anivia, and am not getting anything for it. I have 2 tokens for her, and not getting shards, keys or anything else anymore...

You can buy random champ shards in the shop for 1700 IP now. You can disenchant these into blue essence. Use blue essence to forge level 6 and 7 mastery emotes.
