A way to buff up turrets, preventing squishies from diving without tanks.

Create a new "item" for the turrets.

Charged Shot :

"After not having attacked enemy champions for 5 secs, the next shot the tower fires at an enemy champion deals double damage but doesn't have armor pen."

The point of this would be to prevent squishies from diving as easily as they do now, while still allowing tanks to tank turrets to facilitate dives.

Alternatively, we could also have it be

"After not having attacked enemy champions for 5 secs, the next shot the tower fires at an enemy champion deals double damage and has 60% armor pen."

This version would simply prevent early dives, regardless of role.

That will mainly just make accidental tower shots too punishing. I'd rather towers have some type of aura slow, armor/mr, or simple buffs, than some new mechanic that punishes very slight mistake very hard. Adding armor pen to it could work, but that would mainly nerf it for top lane since it's usually a bruiser/tank diving together.

... why? The diver class is fairly squishy in the first place, and assassins are supposed to be able to dive as well. I see no point in just disallowing squishies to dive if they play well and their class permits it. If ADCs are solodiving then you have an argument. Zed, Rengar, Lee Sin, Elise, Kled and the like... Not so much.
