Maybe we should all just wait a day for the patch to drop and let the results/stats speak for themselves?

They put nerfs for him on pbe literally the day 7.9 came out, which changed the whole game. His stats are trash across the board already, in both roles.

How so? Mid Fizz seems to have a good winrate (matchups rn might be part of that) while top Fizz has low counterplay for his damage, also with a good wr. Its also not like his damage done and kill participation are low and his banrate is getting up there.

His win rate top is lower than 50% which, if he was the best top laner, would be pretty surprising wouldnt it? His skill ceiling is pretty low too, so its not like its just because of people that cant play him. Wr mid is a bit higher than 50% and even that is just because only people that main Fizz play him mid at this point.

His winrate is only low with a sub-optimal setup/build. Once they get a couple games in/optimize a bit it is quiet high. http://lolalytics.com/champion/Fizz/ His wr also only dropped the last couple days.

I have no qualms with mid fizz.

"Optimize" in what way? Because once you get better with any champ your win rate should be higher. And yeah his win rate dropped lately, thats why Im saying Riot shouldve waited, hes probably just gonna become unplayable in 7.10. Might be wrong but.. well see I guess.

Maxing W instead of E, building in a way that matches your lane, learning the trade combo effectively. Until 2 days ago his 1-5 game played wr was over 50. I don't think that's normal for any champ.

Yes, I'm hoping tank Fizz is gone next patch. I don't think mid Fizz will be though. The meta is still good for him.
