Rek'Sai doesn't hear per se, she feels the tremors in the ground, so if anything Rammus ult and Malphite E should do bonus dmg.

To be fair, if Cho can time his silence on her dash he destroys her completely, since she ends up dashing to him but she's now silenced so she can't unburrow to fight, so she's just there, in the middle of the enemy team, doing nothing, about to die.

Rek'sai doesn't have to cast her unburrow spell (w) to unburrow, if you try to aa something it will automatically do it

No, she automatically casts the spell when she AAs, a silenced rek'sai can't unborrow by AAing something, it's actually fun to watch.

As a Rek'Sai main, I can confirm this. I'm pretty sure she's supposed to be able to AA to unborrow, but it doesn't work. Personally, I think her W should not be silencable, castable even when silenced

Why? The only abilities that work like that either remove CC, or are Trynd ult which is explicitly usable through any disabling effect.

Why would reksai's W get that?

Because it's not a blind. You're not actually able to autoattack during that time, they just added the "right click to exist W" shortcut because it's a convenient thing to have. It still counts as a spellcast, so silences work on it and it procs Kassadin's force pulse and so on.

Because otherwise silences prevent her from doing literally anything. it turns a silence into essentially a polymorph without the slow, which is way way stronger.

And? She's using her own ability which has the downside of preventing her from autoattacking until she toggles it off. If the silence prevented her from autoattacking while she was already unburrowed, it'd be different, but it doesn't.

She already can't autoattack because she has W active. She has to re cast W before being able to autoattack, and the rightclick to recast is just a shortcut.
