Guinsoo's Rageblade

This item is still too powerful. At max stacks, it gives:

+64% attack speed 54 AD 72 AP And like +40 damage or so to all nearby enemies. Call this about as good as 40 more AD, since it's obviously on an auto attacking champion anyways.

So how good is 64% AS, 94 AD, and 72 AP? 64% AS is worth 1600 94 AD is worth 3290 72 AP is worth 1566

Total: 6456

Now I know this is an overestimate, since it takes a few attacks to reach full stacks, but still, this seems grossly OP for something that only costs 2800. Not only that, I thought Riot didn't like big power spikes like this which was why they nerfed the Lich Bane. And this is a bigger power spike than that was, so doesn't it go against their philosophy?

This item is one of the few things that keeps poor Koggy viable at the moment, please don't push my poor void abomination further into the dirt :(

Imo balancing champions shpould be done by balancing the champions and not with items you might get. Since items aply to more champions their power.

Why is it so bad for hybrids to have a good item? Are you that pathetic that you cant stand the idea of your ADC overlords being a smidgeon weaker because of a new item that favors a small niche and can only be used effectively by a few champions?

Guinsoos rageblade is fine as it is. It just needs a different build path and a small price hike.

Like making it tiamat+needlessly large rod+gold and giving it a 3350 price tag.

If it would build out of Tiamat it would be too easy to build early when you start with a longsword. I think the current buildpath fits very well

But if it were to be built out of more expensive materials, then you can justify a price hike...

the problem is that only one of the abusers actually is a hybrid. Alone the AS+AD+on-hit make it the most effective single item for AA champs. it gives 24% more as than any other item(unless your ap and go nashor's), while offering with 54 a great amount of ad, only 11 short of most pure ad items. If you compare that to BotrK for example, you gain 24% more as 29more ad, and a more powerfull onhit vs squishy's, but less powerfull vs tanks later on, for 600g less. yes, no active, no lifesteal and needs to stack up, but it also gives 72ap, so as soon as you can make atleast some use of the ap, it gets absurd.

Jax +item 3124 = you all die

Tristana + item 3124 Might as well be playing Undertale, because this is a Genocide run now

Somewhat-kidding aside, Trist is pretty awesome with Rageblade. A passive +64% Attack Speed increase + 110% Attack Speed increase from her Rank 5 Q means you have almost 200% increased Attack Speed just from a single item and ability alone. Mix that up with Infinity Edge, Nashor's Tooth and/or Runaan's Hurricane and you're pretty much set. Spin2Win? More like AbsolutelyFuckingDeDeDestroy2Win,

Guinsoo is good but so are almost all the other items that riot has released this patch

I think guinsoo is in an ok spot right now

maybe needs a little more price tweaking but hybrids deserve to have an item thats actually good late-game, they haven't had one for years.

That's true. I posted a thread about this a few weeks ago. I think each stack gives 390 gold in stats so the nerf only nerfed the item by less than one stack.
