Why do people hate Fiora?

Just curious, why? I've heard people call her the "epitome of cancer" and a bunch of other things. I understand when it's coming to Teemo (his voice and walk animation was annoying) but why Fiora?

Her ultimate does not offer counter play. She activetes it and you can just watch how your HP goes down.

Also a lot of fiora players I met had tendency to feed.

Overall she is not interesting and has only two outcomes in game: Get fed and carry or Feed and being useles. (recently I played with fiora who was feeding and had poor farm and then she carried - that is not how it shout be)

From a theme standpoint, Fiora is a train wreck. She's supposed to be a duelist/fencer, someone who can outmatch a single opponent with technique and poise and who ought to be famous for the parry and riposte, but her kit is pretty much nothing but damage. That's why I don't like her.

Like most melee ADCs, she's in this really obnoxious spot where she either rolls over pitifully and throws games (when she's on your team), or she one shots everybody (when she's on the other guy's team). Pretty similar to Master Yi in a lot of ways - pretty much no matter what, you'd prefer her to not be in the game, regardless of which side she's on.

I think it's mainly just her ult that makes people not like her. I personally can't stand un targetable abilities, and her ult especially. Being completely helpless and just watching your HP plummet is no fun.

I love the theme. I love the fencer idea who uses quick skill and mechanics to outplay her opponent. What do we get instead? Just a one note champ that just goes all in. There is pretty much one way to play Fiora, and that's to go in and see if you can kill the guy. She's strong but there's nothing interesting about her. Her theme suggests that you can use a lot of her kit mechanically however her kit offers none of that.

All-in champs with no versatility are bad. This is why she either feeds and is useless or gets fed and just facerolls. There's no in between as there's not much she can do if she's behind.

She's Master Yi V2 that can actually survive short skirmishes. Where Yi pumps everything into chasing and Q, Fi focuses everything on straight-up attacking. She typically can't carry as hard as Yi since her untargetable strike is her R and Yi's is his Q, but Fi makes up for that with her merciless dueling. She can easily wreck Yi's **** with W, on his Q, then E, #x for Hydra and Ghostblade active, and Q if he somehow survives that. Don't even R unless you're in a crowd. Not needed. I use her on occasion. Came in second place on Ascension today with her. Fiora is far from toxic, but if fed, she does what carries are supposed to do, carry. Most people who go so far as to call her cancer are just butthurt because they probably got their asses kicked by one -but it's little different from any other carry that snowballs. So to single out Fi is pointless. Riven, Lucian, Yi, Kha, Trist, Poppy, I've seen all those champs carry hard and 1v4 at some point. There're many more, but ignore Fi hate. She's a pain because of her kit, but she's far from toxic. Shut her down early like any hyper-carry (your Rivens, Yis, Irelias, and Akalis) and you're good. Like Riven, she has a hard time coming back unless allowed to free-farm later and she has no reliable escapes which makes her easy to gank.
